Thank you Frankie Furter

Look, we got corn today.....for the very first time. That's thanks to Frankie who's been showing his corn-eating prowess and talking about his corn stalks that are growing.

Kendra tucked right into hers.....she eats anything. It didn't take Bella long to work out what to do either.

I wasn't quite sure how I should eat it.
Once I figured out to eat just the outside, I was right. Didn't take long to finish it.
Kendra had already eaten the corn and crunched the cob into several pieces that had to be taken away from her. I just ate the corn. Bella had to be chased all over to get her cob taken away. It was delicious. And we were glad to try it as dinner was pretty ordinary........just kibble.

  1. The corn looks very yummy but be careful, guys. Our friend, Putter had to have emergency surgery for swallowing one of those nasty cobs!

    Love ya lots

  2. Maggie and Mitch already gave you the warning so we won't repeat it. We also had a person who wanted a puppy tell us that their Scottie died from eating a wine cork - that's pretty scary too - we don't know if it was the grapes or the cork that caused the death.

Anyway that corn looks pretty scrumptious. Back in the olden days when Mom was a pup, she had a German Shepherd that loved corn. They couldn't keep it in the garden because the dog would harvest it - stalk and all as soon as it was ready to eat.

  3. Hi guys, I am soooooo very much happy to have introduced you to this wonderful (and FUN) foodable. I only eat the corn part... mom takes the cob away as soon as she thinks I might be getting ... a little carried away. Now you will get to make INTERESTING poops. I'm just sayin'.

  5. We like corn too, but we can't have it on the cob, cuz we try to swallow stuff whole.

  8. The Vangelders said it!!! A lot of dogs are allergic to corn. Some will throw it right back up but some will not. They will show that they are allergic in other ways. Like a skin rash, extra itching, skin color change,& swelling.
One of the above or all of the above can happen if your dog is allergic.
But it is a sure thing that you all liked it very much!!!
    Just becareful!!!

  10. Oh, I'm drooling all over the place here. But, um, my mom won't lets me have corn. Cuz it's the only thing in the whole wide world I've ever wanted to keep as mine. Yep, my mom can takes raw meaty bones right outta my mouth but I really, really don't want her to have my corn on the cob. So that's why she won't lets me have it anymore. Sniffle. Oh, well. I'll just sit here and looks at yours.
