Another Frosty Morning

There was another frost this morning. We had one the other morning, too, but we went for our walk soooo early, it was too dark to take photos.Kendra didn't even get out of her warm bed! So it was just Bella and me.
Bella tasted it. I was looking for cats; but they stayed in bed, too.
Later, I went to visit little Millie. She doesn't have much fur yet, so her Mum made her a little coat.
She made it out of Dad's work sock! They made a beanie out of the toe part. But Millie didn't like it.

She looked VERY cute, but I kept trying to get away from her EXTREMELY sharp teeth.
In one week, she has become VERY confident.
The good thing about a frosty morning is it usually means a beautiful day ahead. Today was no exception. It was! We even heard 'Greensleeves' playing. That means the ice-cream truck. (We didn't get any ice cream, but that's the kind of weather it was.)
Tomorrow is a Public Holiday....officially the Queen's Birthday. Her birthday is really in April. It used to be celebrated with Fireworks and bonfires, but Fireworks are banned now. However, no one wants to give up a holiday, so it's just a day off. There will be fireworks at official venues. The queen has a birthday list and some people will receive awards. (Not us.)
We'll be up early though (4:20 am) to watch the Socceroos play Germany in our first game of the World Cup.

Millie is so very much cute in her little sock sweater. I don't blame her for not liking the beanie, though.

  6. OMG Millie looks adorable all wrapped up in her dad's sock. Cute. But don't let her bite you with those sharp puppy teeth. We Scotties don't like that sort of nonsense.

As for frost, we forget that you have Winter in Australia while we have Summer. We are Glad Kendra stayed in her warm bed.

Now about the football. We are rooting for you Australia to beat those Germans and get really high points. Come on you can do it!!!!

    Fingers crossed.

  10. Hi All - we hope it stays warm with us for a little while longer and we don't get any frosty paws for a while! We LOVE the photos of Millie - she's super-cute in her sock outfit, what a great idea. Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
