Bella woke us up at 3 a.m. Saturday morning.....vomiting,
on the big bed.
|
Bella, taken last Thursday. |
She vomited a few more times and sounded as if she had something caught in her throat.
She didn't want breakfast, didn't join the others to tell the Front Yard Cats to get back into their own Front Yard, was generally lethargic and showed no interest in going to the river.
We had a short time at the river, so Bella could be at the Vets' when it opened.
There were two emergencies, so we had to wait for over an hour.
However, the Vet was very thorough, eliminating most obvious problems, but she did have a slight temperature.
After an injection for vomiting, a prescription for antibiotics for the temp, a much lighter wallet, we went home.
Bella coughed frequently for the rest of Saturday and this morning.
However, after 3 doses of antibiotics with the help of cheese,
the coughing is gone,
she told the cats off this evening,
ate a Roo tail.
and she's back watching telly, too.
We think she may just have a cold or cough from sleeping
in front of the fan.
Will continue the antibiotics until the course is done.
Good to have her feeling better.
But why do things always happen on weekends?
