Devils Elbow

Today was a glorious day. We went to a new place for a walk--the place is old, but we just found out about it. It's called the Devil's Elbow or Devil's Hole. It's where the river gets deep and dangerous. Supposedly the name was to frighten children to keep them away from danger. Anyway, it's one of the areas around town where dogs can run free!
First we walked by the river. Some people came and set up their fishing lines. We met their two big dogs. They frightened Bella who ran off. They caught up with her and said hello. They were friendly.

There was so much to smell. Kendra and Bella found something disgusting to eat. Alpha didn't even want to know what it was, but from the smell, it must have been some old fish.

We ran through the grass. There were loads of very old trees.
Even Kendra kept up with us most of the way.
The road was easier to run on than the grass. We met this group of dogs and said hello to all of them. That big guy with the blue coat took a liking to Bella. Then more people started arriving, so we walked back to the car.
Just before we reached the car, Bella found this mud puddle and got wet.
So tired, dusty (and muddy in Bella's case) we went home.
It was a Great Day.

As for Bella and the puddle, well she would be on same wavelength as friend Cookie Mudpuddle, who loves them.

Sorry to hear Germans beat Australians yesterday, hopefully you will win next match.
