and a mystery!!
Last week SHE read that you can cut the bottom
off a celery bunch, put it in water and it would
So SHE tried it with Bok Choi
Look, it's only been a week:
|We think this counts as nature.|
And this, we found a little duck family today.
An Autumn hatching.
And the mystery?
When SHE returned from shopping today,
SHE found this in the study.
A chewed container that had
contained meat for the magpies.
When SHE left is was on the kitchen bench
the meat was gone.....
and there were three short-legged, innocent-looking dogs!
I'm guessing those magpies somehow got into the kitchen?ReplyDelete
And I'm betting that celery thing wouldn't work for Gail...
that is sure a mystery! do you think your mama can find out what happened?ReplyDelete
Obviously, the kitchen bench wasn't tall enough☺ReplyDelete
The duckie family is too cute!
OH DUI, did THEY blame YOU? I am betting THEY did! but I hope not, we know OTHERS can do things like this.. I am NOT smiling, ha ha… yes the bokchoi is nature and the ducks are nature and for sure dogs chewing plastic is their nature.ReplyDelete
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that darn front yard cat...came a callin' I think.ReplyDelete
I love the experiment with Bok Cho...maybe SHE will have enough to cook with soon.
Sounds like one of those magpies snuck in to us!!!ReplyDelete
WOW...how awesome to be able to grow your own Bok Choi!
(definitely nature at its finest!)
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
I would say you had better keep eating the Magpie meat for the Bok Choi leaf is not enough to sustain anyone.ReplyDelete
Sweet William The Scot
You mean you three stole food from a bird??? Shame on you.ReplyDelete
I think dat da ducks ate da meat. Dey are sneaky dat way.ReplyDelete
Clearly the magpies broke into the house for the meat. Mystery solved.ReplyDelete
This is a deep mystery. I bet it was Sum Udder Dawg.ReplyDelete
We can't believe SHE would be saving meat for birds! We don't know who ate it though. We hope the late hatchings make it okay.ReplyDelete
Oh, there is NO WAY a terrier would have got into the meats! NO WAY!ReplyDelete
*snicker, snicker, heheheheheee* I bets it was a squirrel....
Very cool sprout! Maybe Ma will try it!
