Morning.....

Up and out before that sun.....again!

We're heading for another HOT day.

It was fairly dark when we started but not too
dark for us to miss a 'ROO!
Yup, the sheep weren't in the paddock
so Dui was off the lead.
SHE didn't even see the 'roo until we started
chasing it through the paddock.

Did SHE get any photos?  Of course not.
All SHE got today was
sunrise and kookaburras......

sitting on the goalposts.

Sheesh!

  1. My Dad has so many photos of your beautiful country. The company he is a senior design engineer for has a large factory down there and he goes often. When Mom retires in four years, she is going to join him for one of his trips. Dad doesn't retire for about 87 years, so Mom will have some fun going on trips with him.

  4. You do have exciting adventures - it's pretty boring when I go for my walks - not much to see and nothing to chase. Not that I'd do that of course, I'm a very well brought up girl.
My peeps have been to your country, they didn't see any kookaburras, but they did see some Roos - in a Zoo near Sydney. It's not the same as seeing them in the wild is it !

  11. Oh, I would've loved to see a 'Roo! The kookaburras are cool though. It must be nice to be up before the sun so you can see the pretty sunrise.

  13. I think the people miss all the action on purpose. If they just stood back and let us run and chase and get into the things they called "mischief" then they could take much better photos, don't you think?
