Houston, we have a problem!
We are Early Risers
who like to head out on an Early Morning walk.
Seems, just a few weeks ago, we were
out and about by 5:15, returning home
just BEFORE the 6:30 flight to Sydney.
But now, that lazy old sun isn't even
getting up until 6:30!!
It's still quite dark at 6 a.m.
This week we were lucky that the
moon lit our way, and the track is light-coloured clay.
We're half way along the track, by the time that lazy sun even
opens his eyes!
And on the way home before he finally makes an appearance
(over the panel beater's shop.)
The first flight is nearing Sydney.........
Lazy Old Sun!
At least it makes for some really pretty photo ops:) Mom says she is almost always up before the sun:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
you think your sun's lazy.....
ReplyDeletewe are having the same problem - the sun seems to be getting up later and later :)
ReplyDeleteIf the sun isn't out, I say why get out of bed? BOL
ReplyDeleteGOOD GRIEF.... you get up before BREAKFAST. We would NEVER want to do THAT.
ReplyDeleteWE agree the Sun is being VERY Lazy... he is allowing MORE Snow to fall on our yard... and NOT putting out much heat either. Guess YOU are getting all of THAT.
Looks like the sun is doing a switheroo...we are seeing a bit more of it, and you are seeing a bit less!!

OMD! You all are up way earlier than we are. We never see a sunrise.
ReplyDeleteI think the sun is hitting the snooze alarm.
ReplyDeleteThat's cause that lazy old sun is having to put in more time on my side of the globe these days! Thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is sleeping later here on the bayou too. It is beautiful waking up for you! ♥
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate when the sun sleeps in!
ReplyDeleteDat are way too early for me!
ReplyDeleteoh wow you are really early dogs... the mama would walk with me like a sleepwalker that time LOL
ReplyDeleteWe've never walked that early before. What a beautiful sunrise!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the sunrise!
ReplyDeleteIt comes to something when even the sun can't be bothered to get up with you, sheesh.

Beautiful photos! I don't think our peeps would appreciate a 5.15 a.m. rising BOL Too dark and too cold here at that time. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteThose of us in the northern hemisphere are stealing your sun very slowly.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhh sounds like you are slowly creeping into the last days of the dog days of summer to fall.
ReplyDeleteLove that sunrise even if it is L A T E!
Hugs Madi your bfff
When I came to live here, in my forever home, it was very hot weather, just like you are having down under. We went out for our walk when it was still dark - before the sun had even got out of bed ! It was nice and cool then, and we didn't see another soul, or car, or pups. My peep bought me a very smart illuminated collar, so that she knew where I was because I didn't need to wear my lead.

Dark but beautiful! Mom said our sun is coming up earlier!
