Yesterday, SHE was reading on the bed.
Bella likes to sleep next to HER when SHE reads--
between HER and the pedestal fan.
The book was about the experiences of a young Vet
who lives and works in Dublin.
This story was about a python
that wouldn't eat. The Vet didn't like snakes and
she didn't really want to touch it.
But its owner insisted she look into its mouth
to see if there was a problem causing the snake
not to eat.
Just then, Bella moved and her
tail slithered across HER back!
SHE leapt off the bed thinking it was a snake!
BOL!

ReplyDeleteVets have the best stories. Our vet friend Kirsty once told Gail about the man who came into the surgery with a snake, and she asked him what seemed to be the matter, he replied, "I'm worried that my snake is depressed"!

ReplyDeleteThat has happened here too. Mom will see something move out the corner of her eye and she'll jump or yell or both. Then she finds out it's just a dog tail where she wasn't expecting it to be. Silly peeps!
