Our Zoo...

Many of you know that we have a zoo just down the road from us.
It is an open-range, breeding zoo.
Breeding animals that are endangered.

Years ago when the perimeter fences were put up,
some of the native species were fenced in, where they thrive.
So our African Savannah exhibit has

a local flair.

  6. Great photo - that is such fun to live nearby. We have a Wildlife Park in Yorkshire that takes in animals from run down zoos and works as part of the breeding programme for endangered species too. Sadly no dogs allowed but my peeps go often to see the beautiful animals there. Woods and licks from Magic xx

  7. Wow. I wonder if the kangaroo ever tries to jump up on the giraffe's back?

  8. An open-range, breeding zoo is wonderful that they can be free. In Nati City we have a zoo but not open-range but we are know for our breeding program particularly our white Bengal tigers. Our neighbor works at the zoo in the Rhino program and travels the world to help when a Rhino is expecting.
    Thanks for being a friend

  14. Maybe that handsome giraffe can give the kangaroo a lift up to see all the sights. We have giraffes at our local Kansas City Zoo. Mom was amazed at how big they really are.!!!

  21. We think it's fine to add a little Oz to other areas. We have a zoo just a mile away from our house and we have lots of Roos and Wallabys.
