Friday Fracas...

You might have guessed from the title that there would have been a cat involved.
This is Roy--mocking us through the window.

 He's one of the Front Yard Cats....from Across the Street!
He usually hides out in the stormwater drain.
Come out, Roy.  Here kitty, kitty.
 This morning was Roxy's turn to go to the vet's.
 We all went, so we could have a run afterwards.
Roxy's way ahead on the left.


 Anyway, just as were jumping into the car to head to the vet's 
(gate open) who should race by across the street.  
Yep, it was that sneaky Roy.
We were off!
We chased him through several yards and treed him!
 This is the tree!  You'll have imagine three savage dogs barking and jumping and racing around the base.
When SHE was finally  able to subdue us (with treats)
and put leads on us, we headed to the vet's and the park.
After all that time, who should STILL be sitting in that tree?!


Yep, that sassy cat, Roy!
Dogs rule!
 (Oh, and Roxy is healthy, with great teeth, clean skin and ears!
Also, inoculated against the nasty diseases for another year.)

    My guys enjoy a good cat chase as well. Maybe as much as chasing the fox, and that's really saying something.

    Now that Foxy Roxy got her clean bill of health, etc., is she gonna ask her guy Ernie to the Sadie Hawkins dance? I have asked one of the top bananas to go with me and he said yes. I will announce on my blog tomorrow who it is.

    p.s. I do not chase kitties cos I live with 2 of them. As I have said before, they will attack me and corneer me!!!!!!! Can someone come to Tucson and help me out?

    Lightning chased one of our new neighbor's cat up a tree on the first night that the cat decided to be an outside cat - we think it may have been the last one too because we haven't seen him since his humans got him down. We hope Roy decided to come down and head home.

    Great report, Roxy!!! Bet you all slept well after all that racing around.

    PS: Tell HER that I barely recognize Reston these days too -- It reminds me of Tysons Corner!! --The Metro is even stopping in Reston.

    Hahaha poor Roy..well i think it is only fair if he teases you though..but hey he can get up the tree so he was fine..as much as Doc and Forrest love our kitties i think a stranger kitty would be in strife..i guess it is what they are used to growing up with..glad the vet visit went well and glad the sun is shining sweeties:) loves Fozziemum xx

    Glad the vet visit went well! As for that cat...our pack seems to think that if they run, they want to be chased. So, they chase 'em!
