Monday Mischief....

Do we need to explain?
Just look at that face...
It was in the tree just over our back fence,
and SHE made us come in, out of the rain.
Then Dui cried for an hour because he couldn't
go out!
Mischief?  We think not.

That was last night.
This morning SHE had one of her 'what could be easier' thoughts.
We went to the river early 6:15a.m. for a leisurely stroll around the track before anyone else arrived.
Suddenly, a truck loomed up from the beach.  Dui chases
trucks...when he can.
Luckily, SHE caught him and put him on the lead.
Because when we looked behind us, we were being followed!
A horse and a pony!
 Naturally, we barked....
And chased them....all over the reserve...(becoming deaf.)
Our friends Flash and Buddy arrived, and SHE caught us when we took time out to say 'hi'.
SHE scrapped the walk and we went down to the beach, but those horses followed us again.  SHE got us on leads again, but Dui got loose.  Luckily, the pony was bomb proof, or he might have a caved in skull!
Shortly afterwards the horses were caught, and we had to be on leads again because we had to go passed them--we only had two leads so Bella was free.  The Ranger told HER that we should be on leads all the time, but SHE told the Ranger it was a lead-free area.
The young Ranger looked it up and appologised.

All this before 7:15 a.m.  SHE's been muttering all morning
about why anyone in her right mind would have terriers.
(We think that says it all.)

  19. Those horses still had on their stall jackets. I bet they would have followed you all the way home and HER could have had two more four leg friends to feed. They were curious about you terriers.
    Thanks for being a friend
