The man with the Silly Walk.

Every morning the man with the silly walk goes past our house.
At first we wondered what he was doing....practising for one of those Walking Races?

Now, we think he has a neurological disorder.
But rain, shine, frost....whatever....he makes his way up the street with his strange  hop-skip gait, concentrating on moving.
We never bark at him.

We admire him for his incredible spirit.

  1. Well done my friends maybe one day you can meet him and bark out to him how he inspires you.

Once there was a speed walker (really) at the mall where the peeps walk. He wore what looked like a biking suit they way in the Tour de France and even some clicky shoes. Mom said he was a wild man walking and when he past you felt the breeze.

  3. It is kind of you not to bark at him. We find it very hard not to have a woof at anyone acting differently from most people. Well done to that man to keep going whatever the weather - that is inspirational. Nose licks and love from Moth xx

  8. Determination is a great quality to have. Kudos to that man for keeping himself moving. Mom saw a man last week with a brace on his knee but he was still walking and walking and walking. More people should have such courage.

  10. Great of you not to bark. There was a lady at the trial this weekend that had a brace on her leg. She apparently was almost paralyzed a few months ago and her one lower leg was still almost totally numb. She did not move very fast but she was out there with her dog and they did great

  14. Patience can get you through almost anything and I am glad to hear that you dogs have the temperament to know not to bark at a person who is different. He is just not a vanilla person but one whose body is different. You should get Tobi to say Hi to the man.
