We were walking around the weekday track.
It was a beautiful day and we had the whole area
to ourselves.
We were going to do a couple of laps,
but Dui
took off after a wallaby!
He chased it through a paddock full of calves.
The curious calves started running after him.
Then he disappeared into the scrub.
We just headed back to the car....our walk cut short.
He finally gave up. There's no way he can catch a wallaby,
And followed us, slowly, back to the car.
Dui is going to have to be on the lead most of the time now.
Oh Dui - Dui does what Dui does!!! He has the will to run in his blood.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
Everyone should be thanking Dui for the exercise.
ReplyDeleteA wallaby sounds fun to chase.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you enjoyed your adventure Dui but it sound like your sisters didn't appreciate your antics.
ReplyDeleteI am very sure my boys would have chased the wallaby too!
ReplyDeleteOh Dui you naughty boy!

Dui, brother, like me you are a victim of human's inability to appreciate our hunting abilities. Oh how annoying it is to be underestimated. I am quite convinced you could catch a Wallaby, just as I KNOW I shall hunt down a deer one day.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Dui I feel with ya... I'm a prisoner on da leash too... we could found the canine chorus of prisoners together... bet the milan opera is waiting for us :o)
ReplyDeleteA wallaby?? That is way more exciting than a squirrel. Pierre is really jealous.
ReplyDeleteUh oh Dui...I'm sure that wallaby needed chasing, did he tease you? And now you'll be on a lead!?!?! Well...I blame an evil wallaby conspiracy!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

You lead such an exciting life compared to me, Dui! Bummer about the leash :-(
ReplyDeleteOh Dui you cannot go running off at everything you see. If we chased every wallaby we saw that would be, well zero wallabys but you should still not do it.
ReplyDeleteOh oh, Dui's in the dog house again. Hey boy, you need to chill.
ReplyDeleteDui
ReplyDeleteFYI:
SHE is not happy with you and good buddy...you aren't gonna like the lead all the time either. Chasin' a wallaby what were you thinking? Geeeeezzzz

Dui...I totally get it! It's hard to be a big dog in a little body...unfortunately, I also have to be on a lead all the time...Mamas just don't understand!

Oh Dui - some creatures are just so provoking when they run that you just have to chase them. You can enjoy lots of furtling around on lead though and enjoy the lovely smells. Take care - nose licks and love from Moth xx
