Along our river are lots of old, dead gum trees.
They are allowed to stay.
Because they are great nesting places for sulphur-crested cockatoos and lots of other birds.
We think this bird has found a perfect site--
Spring isn't too far away.
And, yes, the sky was THAT blue yesterday.

ReplyDeletethat is a blue like the bestest blue jeans and I'm sure spring is on the way to Oz ;o) we love that cockatoo's... the mama ist always happy to see this fab berds in their natural habitat and not in a cage...

You don't see anything like that in Virginia, that's for sure! But the change of seasons is coming for us too - School starts in just a couple of weeks for Loudoun county.
