Recently, the scotties have been hanging out together more.
Dui used to follow Roxy around all the time.
But now, the scotties are usually together....on guard duty.
They prefer to lie companionably, surveying the 'hood,
while Roxy is a couch potato.
However, when there is excitement....a walk, or car trip,
Dui resorts to his naughty little brother routine and teases Bella relentlessly.
Bella will not go outside until both Roxy and Dui are in the car.
Curious.
Naughty little brother..Dui??? Really, hehe!!
ReplyDeleteIs that Bella being mother and looking after the little 'uns
Loves and licky kisses

The Scotties are doing Synchronized Surveillance BOL. It's interesting how each and every dog has their own quirky personailty. Too bad I don't have a sibling or 2.
ReplyDeleteBowie
Scotties seem to have minds of their own, except when they are of one mind...teeheehee
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

A change in routine or behanvio(u)r means that something;s up.
ReplyDeleteSmart Roxy. Let the wanna-be twins do all the work
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Roxy is a smart girl letting the Scotties do all the surveillance and front yard cat patrol. That is strange that Bell waits until Big D and Foxy Roxy are in the car. I guess they are her security detail
ReplyDeleteHugs to you 3 and HER
Madi and mom
Vacations are a must! Let the Scotties be the workhorses, Roxy!
ReplyDeleteIt is always good to have a sibling who watches you back.
ReplyDeleteFunny how they get there odd routines about things. Mabel & Hazel have some too

What a cute friendship you two share!
ReplyDeleteDui, you and Misty are very much the same. She loves her Lightning, but she sure can harass the heck out of him.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
That's cute the way they hang together checking out the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteBella has a cute shadow! It is interesting how they can create routines.
ReplyDeleteLove to see you 2 Scotties together :-) Good to have two neighbourhood watchdogs on the job. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteIt's good to mix things up....keeps the peeps guessing, BOL!

Switching things up a bit, eh? Happy MOther's Day!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
So many dog habits are "curious"! I love how you are changing things up.
ReplyDeleteYup, we have things changing sometimes too. Keeps it interesting and its fun to watch the interactions.
ReplyDeleteIt is always great when our pups get along. Twice the Scotties on duty is twice as nice! ☺
ReplyDeleteAwe dat are sweet!! Always has to rally the troops though when there is a big exciting adventure coming up ;)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Matt & Matilda
Maybe now that Dui is growing up Miss Bella is happier being with him. No one wants to be around a silly adolescent boy.
ReplyDeleteLee put our name in to rescue for a Scottie in Lexington but doubt if we are chosen. Usually they tell Lee she is to strict. Lee just doesn't get the concept. I let Lee be boss because then I get what I want, works for me.
ReplyDeleteSweet William The Scot

ReplyDeleteI can tell you in a nano second...I don't want any siblings or any nieces or nephews to visit me...UNLESS it is due to a Hurry Cane and they have to evacuate. MOLMOL
Hugs madi your bfff
Having just spent a weekend with Todd's family, I'm finding that Scotties are pretty complex, among other things.
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way, YOU were the topic of conversation with two people from Australia at the Rocky Creek picnic. One of them, Jason, who has Todd's nephew lives in Point Cook, Victoria, and Beril who breeds and shows Scotties lives in Brisbane.
