Comparisons

We found a chart of made up facts about Labrador Retrievers.
And we've been comparing ourselves to Labs.

We  have the same ears, stomachs and definitely the feet.
Roxy can add the tongue and fur to her list.

How do you stack up against a Labrador?

  1. Interesting. I am relieved to learn that I am definitely not a lab in disguise, the only point of real similarity being that uncanny ability to hear treats being opened from afar.

  4. Ha! That's a great chart! It seems as though we have the same stomach as a lab, among other things!

  5. Great chart - we think we must have some retriever in us too - we match up with all those traits except the tail - we are big waggers:)

  6. Oh I definitely match up with the ears and stomach! I can hear a treat bag being opened 87 bazillion miles away. And everyone knows I out away tons of food, treats, and anything else I can get in to!

  8. I have two fur-cousins that are Labradors. They are both pretty old and let me snack on their food sometimes. But at the holidays they don't get to come in and snuggle on the couch because they leave furs everywhere. And smell

  9. The rest of us compare very well to that Lab. No mention is made of a brain. Could that Lab blog? I bet it can't read or write.

  10. I stack up pretty good except for the tail. My stump is just too short!

    Love ya lots,

  11. Well....I have the same parts as they do. The only thing I would say is that I am uh a bit vertically challenged compared to them!!
Now Addy is more on that level.

  12. Wow, that's BOL funny! I'm sure every bit of that is true. I definitely stack up with that on the hearing-of-food-sounds and fur-making points. My peeps say I'm an expert at both! Thanks for the chuckle today. Cute, cute, cute pix of you three!

  15. Well Daisy, Bella & Roxy ~ I think we all stack up in one way or another. My tail does not quite reach the coffee table, but I have my ways of knocking things over.
On another note, we want to thank you for your kind encouraging words yesterday over on our blog. I think blogville is taking care of the nasties. We are again laughing with some of the comments and crying with others who have suffered the nasties.
But we know we are not alone.

  16. I don't have a tail, just a nub. Mom said that my nub is soooo adorable when I move it from side to side :)

  17. Super-fun!!!

Tongue-wise, I'm basically there: I have a special darting mechanism designed to kiss Dad's face from a distance. (It doesn't work as well with Mom unless she isn't paying attention.)
Tail-wise, I'm way better: I can easily reach 20,000 WPM when I watch my human parents prepare my food.
