NEWS FLASH!!!!!

 Today, I Daisy, the huntress............
 CHASED......A......KANGAROO!!!!!!!!
Yep, you read that correctly!  This morning we went for a walk down by the river and a kangaroo jumped up out of the grass and I gave chase.  Sorry there's no actual photo because the dumb photographer didn't have the camera ready.  SHE was putting Bella on the lead because there was a man coming.  But I took off at top speed, leaping through the high grass and chasing it  for about 87 miles  200 metres!
Anyway, it looked like this.  It was a huge  a young Eastern Grey. (We had to get a picture off the internet.) It was MORE FUN than chasing a CAT!  It bounded through the tall grass and down the cycleway with me close behind until I lost it around a curve. (I was handicapped by the tall grass.)  I looked and looked for another one, but there weren't any...you know, we terriers just don't give up.  It took HER ages to get me back on the lead because I was SO EXCITED! I was also soaking wet, covered in burrs and grass seeds.BUT who cares. I CHASED A ROO!
Can't wait to go back!

  1. Daisy, that was pawesome! We have chased many things but never a kangaroo - how very exciting!
We reckon it would have been a bit like chasing a deer cos they are very fast too and hop through the grass.
