Morning Cat Patrol

We have a lot of cats in our neighbourhood. Many of them are feral. They like hiding out in the stormwater drains. We have to check every drain on our morning walks. You can smell them. Sometimes, you can see them slink back into the underworld. I go crazy. These are our streets! (Actually, it 's a real treat when we can make them run. Good for the ol' ego. Heeheehee.)
Sector Clear! The people across the street go out every morning and leave food for the feral cats. Sometimes, we find it and have a snack!

Sector Clear! But we have to be on our guard every moment we're on patrol. We are so charged up, we occasionally think a garden ornament is a cat.

Sector Clear! We don't even stop for pee-mail on our morning patrol.

Clear! It's safe to move around the streets! Bella is becoming quite a cat chaser, too. I've taught her everything I know. This morning we scared three cats......boy, did they run! That's what makes a good walk into a great walk.

  1. We're always on the lookout for kitties to chase on our walkie too! We never seem to catch one though!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  2. Our Mom is thinking your Alpha's arm must be at least 3 inches longer now if she had to hold you back from chasing cats - we know how hard you guys can pull. Mom is beginning to wonder if she can walk 4 Scotties together or if she'll take us in shifts now. When there is ice on the road we can almost pull her!!BOL!

  3. Hi girls - oh, Max especially LOVED this post, he keeps on telling us that security is NO JOKE as he's strutting - erm, we mean, patrolling - the area! Hey, we're very impressed you get the ocassional snack on your patrols, quite right too! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  4. HEy
Good thing you have things under control. Those cats are wierd arent they, now not all cats I mind you!! Nothings better than chasing and making a cat run for its life!! arf arf!! A scottie shouldnt be allowed to have this much fun huh??

  5. What is up with the neighbors feeding the cats? That is just awful....except, of course, when you find it! I doubt whether you have seen it but I have a t-shirt that says "I hate cats"!

  6. have a lot of work to do down very careful, where you all look ;o) A lot of feral feline activity down under ;o)
