Two frosty mornings.......-6°C/21.2°F
We kept warm before we went to the river.
Saturday I, Roxy, had to wear a bandage, baggy and two baby socks over my sore foot.
It lasted about an hour and a half.
Coco was there, and that meant wild chasing games.
This morning, SHE even used duct tape
to make a better bandage,
But
didn't notice what was wrong until we reached the river.
Can you see the problem?
We think the frost iced HER brain.
Wow -6C sure is cold. We complain around here if it gets below 0C.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, is that another poor paw 'cos I was finking it was you back poor paw?

He He He on the bandage and I must say you wear it well... hope you are better each day, I love the pic of he two of you with your own heater.
ReplyDeleteCrikey ... All that ice must have addled her brain, aye? Even I know it's Roxy's back leg that has a problem. The ice must have glazed her eyes over too. What was SHE thinking?
ReplyDeleteCatching up on your news - That torn pad looks painful, but the comic relief comes in the last photo of the bandage - SHE had a one in four chance of getting it right! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope the muzzle practice keeps getting easier - With those kind of treats it just might!
Enjoy your 4th - Hot and really muggy here, as SHe probably knows. We could use some rain.
Bwahahaha while it was certainly funny, we hope that the real hurt paw didn't get worsen.

OOPS! Wrong paw! Could we please trade temps? I'll take 20 if you take 80! That's fair, right?!☺
ReplyDeleteOh dear. It looks like she missed the mark on which foot needed to be protected.
ReplyDeleteShe should never become a surgeon who specializes in amputations.
ReplyDeleteMOL Roxy for sure SHE needs to stick to her day job as Mom to you 3 and leave the nursing to the professionals.....but at least SHE tried we give HER points for that.
ReplyDeleteHugs and wishing I could send you the hots

I recommend marking an x on the correct foot or writing a note on it "place bandage here". That's too funny!

ReplyDeleteUmmmm - maybe for your lady's sake she should just bandage them all.
ReplyDeleteFrost?? Wow! It is super-HOT here. Can you send me some frosty-crystals, and I will send you some sun? We can share!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, there is indeed something wrong with that silly bandage. Silly humans.
Gosh we know all about that frost-related senility thing...
ReplyDeleteBless your heart and foot. Can you order Pawz boots? They work well to cover ouchies and don't come off.
ReplyDeleteA tour of Mt. McKinley via fly around I can only imagine the beauty and awe of it. We were in Denali National Park on a cloudy day...we looked in the direction of Mt. McKinley...never saw it.
