Friday the Thirteenth...

We went to the river early,
Where we met a new friend, Coco.
She joined in our wild games.
That girl can really RUN!
It was starting to heat up, so we had a few dunks in the river.

Then home for the usual quick rinse.
We dried off under the ceiling fans, before the mercury hit 42°C/107.6°F.

It was a good day for sleeping in the
air conditioned house.
(Actually, we've been very lucky so far.  This was our hottest day.  The very hot weather has been to the north and west of us.
Today should be a more reasonable 33°C/91°F.)

  8. Crikey ... It sure is hot, aye? I'm melting here. It's even too hot for the beach. We are usually there by now but we are waiting till the big burner in the sky disappears before we head off today.

  12. I CANNOT EVEN IMAGINE 107 DEGREES...ESPECIALLY IF IT IS HUMID TOO.
    THANK GOODNESS FOR A/C.

YEARS AGO i WAS IN LAS VEGAS THEY SAID THE TEMP WAS 117 BUT I DECLARE NO HUMIDITY MAKES THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE
