The river

is back within its bed...(leaving lots of great mud and puddles.)

This morning we found this interesting hole in the road.

Being Earth dogs, we were very interested in it.
Roxy was more interested in eating the grass.
One Earth dog, of course, disappeared down the hole.

SHE was going to help him out (after the requisite photo),
but he managed to scramble out by himself.

  8. Crikey ... Bertie fell down a hole like that the other day and now Dui. Both Gail and SHE took photos before lending a hand. What's going on? These things go in 3's. I sure hope I'm not next.

  9. Really, I think Blogville needs a new code of conduct, to include a ban on photos of poor pups struggling to escape from holes.

  18. Dui you were lucky you could turn around and get back out. Why you might have been gone like forever. It could have been one of those sink holes that open up. We had one open about a mile from our home and swallowed a whole nursery plant business ~ then there was the one across town that swallowed a bus. Watch Out Dui!
