Garden Time...

SHE planted a small garden in our sun lounger.

Last year SHE only had one tomato plant.  It was pitiful-- produced only 3 tomatoes and there was something wrong with each one.

This year the little garden is back, and there is a NO SIBE fence around it.

Like the one Lightning and Ciara have in their garden.

But we don't have any Sibes....

Hmmmmmmmmm, it's a puzzle.

Note:  It's been one week and it is growing beautifully.
('Cute' cumbers--a small Lebanese type, Bok Choy, 3 kinds of tomatoes, red onions
and Marigolds to keep bugs away.)

  14. Our tomatoes did poorly last year also. But this year they are monsters - more than 4 feet tall! And we have a no-Hazel fence

  15. Wow, that looks great! SHE did a nice job. My peeps can't grow hardly anything except moss...not enough sun and too much moisture. BOL You are starting into your Summer just as we are leaving it. :)

  16. We hope it does better than what mom grew! BUTT she did get to eat 5 tiny little cantaloupes, a few eggplants, and plenty of tiny tomatoes. Oh, some cukes too. They were the only thing that got big.

  18. BOL. Maybe we need to come show you what a no sibe fence really means to us:)

Mom had one tomato plant this year and was amazed that she got about 18 tomatoes!!! But she planted it in a big pot that rested on a table on our deck. Well protected from the rabbits and somePups.

    Good luck with the garden.

  26. That garden looks like it has great potential! Maybe SHE should do what the acdMom did and plant a few cherry tomato plants so you can help yourselves. The blind girls even know how to pick their own!

  32. Maybe you can import some Sibes to go with the fence.
