SHE planted a small garden in our sun lounger.
Last year SHE only had one tomato plant. It was pitiful-- produced only 3 tomatoes and there was something wrong with each one.
This year the little garden is back, and there is a NO SIBE fence around it.
But we don't have any Sibes....
Hmmmmmmmmm, it's a puzzle.
Note: It's been one week and it is growing beautifully.
('Cute' cumbers--a small Lebanese type, Bok Choy, 3 kinds of tomatoes, red onions
and Marigolds to keep bugs away.)
VERY mysterious indeed. Why ever would anyone was a NO-SIBE fence when there are no Sibes…

Is this Mission Impossible 2 for Dui?
ReplyDeleteHehe, Dui, your mission, should you chose to accept it.......you nose that NO SIBE fence stand NO CHANCE!

ReplyDelete3 tomatoes? that's not bad ... my mom got only one what we called the ugly Tom... no one was brave enough to eat it... it looked more like the poisoned apple of snow whites stepmother :o)
ReplyDeleteAt least your Lady tries to grow something, ours does not!
ReplyDeleteBabyBelle Pug tried to eat all the tomatoes this year!!
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't have that Sibe fence, you'd have Sibes. It's working.
ReplyDeleteNow don't pick your garden stuff til it's all grown up

MOL MOL MY PEEPS PLANTED 3 TOMATO VINES IN THE SPRING...THEY GOT 2 TOMATOES...THAT IS IT!! BUT THE VINES GREW LIKE JACK IN THE BEAN STALK.

Our tomatoes did poorly last year also. But this year they are monsters - more than 4 feet tall! And we have a no-Hazel fence

Wow, that looks great! SHE did a nice job. My peeps can't grow hardly anything except moss...not enough sun and too much moisture. BOL You are starting into your Summer just as we are leaving it. :)

We hope it does better than what mom grew! BUTT she did get to eat 5 tiny little cantaloupes, a few eggplants, and plenty of tiny tomatoes. Oh, some cukes too. They were the only thing that got big.

Murphy & Stanley
It's time to pull up my garden! It's an upside down world! Stuart
ReplyDeleteBOL. Maybe we need to come show you what a no sibe fence really means to us:)
ReplyDeleteMom had one tomato plant this year and was amazed that she got about 18 tomatoes!!! But she planted it in a big pot that rested on a table on our deck. Well protected from the rabbits and somePups.
Good luck with the garden.

OH!!! I think this year its going to be a GOOD vegetable harvest. She's doing it right. There are certain vegetables that are made for pots only. Your new garden is just perfect and lots of SUN!!! Can't wait to see the progress. Woofs to you and your mom. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteTell that we think SHE is off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteMaybe da fence are da reason dere are no sibes.
ReplyDeleteI am closing up my gardens for the year so I am going to have to enjoy your gardening for five months
ReplyDeleteMan, i hopes that it does better than Ma's did this year! Though, the zucchinis did great! The tomatoes just kinda went pfffft. Then again, your Moms thumb is probably green...my Ma's thumb is brown, with spots of black...☺
ReplyDeleteGood luck Dui....that looks pretty sturdy....butts I know you can do it! hehehehe
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
I hope your garden grows fast and tall! And I hope that no Sibe fence is needed!
ReplyDeleteLong may it grow - unmolested !
ReplyDeleteThat garden looks like it has great potential! Maybe SHE should do what the acdMom did and plant a few cherry tomato plants so you can help yourselves. The blind girls even know how to pick their own!
ReplyDeleteI guess those fences must work with all kind of doggies.
ReplyDeleteZiggy Out!!
I hope ya'll get lots of yummy vegetables! Everytime our Dad plants a garden the squirrels think it's a free for all :/

Well done. Those silly fences don't work for terriers anyway.

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Yay garden! Our people do that too! It is always full of worms and fun things to dig up! Hey, how come there's a fence? That means you can't dig!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can import some Sibes to go with the fence.
