True Story.....with no photos.

It's those Front Yard Cats again!

You know they're ALWAYS in OUR garden.

They come into OUR back garden at night and
sometimes STEAL our toys.

Why, just the other morning as we returned from our
 Early Morning Walk,
Jenny was outside....with those cats...and told us she had to return one of our rope toys.

But, back to the story.

Thursday morning when we went out at 5 a.m.
Dui had been trying to get us up at 4.
one of those cats was STILL in our back garden.

Facsimile of said cat.

Well, we surrounded it!  Yes, all three of us!

The only way out was up, so it scrambled up a tree and
onto the  next door's roof!

Then it raced for its OWN front yard!

We started telling everyone in the street about it
and SHE made us come in.

Later we went to our friend Millie's to take our Christmas photo(s).

When we got home, SHE didn't close the front gate.
Bella and I, Roxy, escaped!

SHE doesn't usually worry, as we live in a Cul-de-sac. We only go next door looking for cats and come home.

This time we FOUND ONE!
We chased it up a tree across the street....YES!!!

Re-enactment
We're not sure if it was the morning cat or another.
That didn't matter.....high five.

It was fantastic!

(Dui was still strapped in the car and missed the adventure.)
SHE's been more careful about the gate since.

  13. Cats can be just evil teasers and it sounds like you have some professional cat burglers in your neighborhood. Mom remembers how happy Bentley was when he treed a cat at age 14. He could hardly walk from arthritis but he told that cat where to go. Keep up the watch but don't leave your yard.

  19. Now that does sound like good fun... I'm sure SHE wasn't too happy having to deal with the 5am part of it but hey if those cats behaved themselves there'd be more sleep!

  20. Monty and Harlow are on constant cat patrol in the backyard - our front yard has no defenses and is constantly being invaded....

  21. Poor Dui, he could have practiced his junior officer skills and arrested that C-A-T! Good job to Bella and Roxy for alerting the neighbors!
