It's Daisy's birthday.
She would have been eleven. We hoped so much that she would be here for the big day. But it wasn't to be.
That didn't stop us having a cake and celebrating.
|Bella always looks like she's going to be hit when the camera points at her.|
It has been two weeks since Daisy went to the Bridge.
SHE still gets out treats for three.
Apologises if SHE kicks something in the dark.
Looks for the third dog on our walks.
Thinks SHE sometimes sees Daisy.
Still touch-types Daisy on comments, automatically.
Happy Birthday, Daisy!
Happy birthday Daisy. Still very much with us in spirit.ReplyDelete

Happy Birthday Daisy - we understand how hard days like this can be. Hugs to you all - woofs and licks from Magic & family xxxReplyDelete
It takes time. How many months after Mango died did I continue to make sure all the furniture was pushed up against the walls or call for my Bubba to come in from the yard? I'm glad you had a birthday party. Cake always makes things better.ReplyDelete
Happy Birthday Sweet Daisy - we know she is looking down from across the bridge.ReplyDelete
It has been nearly 4 years since Loki died and 2.5 since Gemini's death and I still call for them, look for them, and see them. It is because they are in my heart forever.ReplyDelete
Happy Birthday Daisy.
If you are not forgotten, you're not really gone.ReplyDelete
Soft woofy kisses from the Scottie girls, Bonnie and Kenzie
Happy happy daisy day to you all. Mom knows exactly what SHE means about 'thinking' SHE sees Daisy. Mom told me after Milky-Way passed both she and Dad had 'sightings and heard things'! MW's box was the room above the family room and to say he liked a dig deep holes is an understatement. Mom said it sounded like he was digging to 'DOWNUNDER'. One night after he passed she heard this excessive digging VERY CLEARLY, Once Dad thought he saw ME walking passed the door w his kitty tail flying HIHG. They think it was MW letting them know all was well and he was no longer sick and could once again prance. We are quiet sure Daisy is telling you she is fine. Hugs Madi and momReplyDelete
Happy birthday Daisy,ReplyDelete
she's with you in spirit and forever in your hearts.
Pardon typos...mom is on the iPad.corrections:ReplyDelete

I do believe that Daisy is with you. My sister and I have seen our pets that have crossed over and heard them in the house. It still hurts that each one is missing in real life but I know they are with us in spirit. Happy Birthday Daisy.ReplyDelete

Happy Birthday Daisy, run and swim in the river under the Bridge. You are in our hearts and the tears flow just looking at your beautiful photo. I remember portrait rock and you loved the car. "SHE still gets out treats for three. Apologises if SHE kicks something in the dark. Looks for the third dog on our walks. Thinks SHE sometimes sees Daisy. Still touch-types Daisy on comments, automatically.". After losing a beloved pet.... It is hard sometimes to let go.
Happy birthday, Daisy....

Happy birthday, Daisy! Hugs to your family.ReplyDelete
Happy birthday, Daisy! Sending Scottie Love to your family as they mourn your passing. Much love, The Scottie Mom.ReplyDelete
Foley and Daisy's friends and family are having a huge birthday party at the Bridge for her featuring lots of Foleytinis with angel dust so she can float up and touch the moonReplyDelete
BUT she is still with you in spirit and always will be in your heart - no reason not to celebrate her special day. Mom is exactly like HER when it comes to Thunder and it has already been eight months. It took a long time with Dakota too. You may have seen our signoff on comments a week or so ago that included Thunder's name - that was MOm's slip.ReplyDelete
Anyway, Happy Birthday, dear Daisy - enjoy your special day.

I know what a bittersweet day it was, but what a wonderful tribute to celebrate Daisy's day--I have a feeling somewhere she was also! And tell HER that I still think I see our girl Wendy who left for the bridge in December out of the corner of my eye all the time.ReplyDelete
Happy Birthday, Daisy! I bet there was a huge pawty at the bridge for you.ReplyDelete
Just so you know how crazy my mom is, she thought she could hear Twix for a long time afterwards. At least your mom isn't hearing things too!
Happy birthday, beautiful girl. You may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten :)ReplyDelete

She and my Shadow are probably partying it up! Shadow's "birthday" was on March 2nd. What a great way to remember her! It takes a while to get used to the absence. Sometimes, even though it has been a few years now - I call Blueberry "Shadow".ReplyDelete
You've been with Daisy for so long, mom. We know how much you miss her.ReplyDelete
Happy Barkday, sweet angel Daisy.
Happy Birthday, Angel Daisy. Glad there was a celebration. You'll always be our friend.ReplyDelete
