We'd like .....

Your thoughts on this situation please.....

As you know we've been having some hole-digging issues.

Especially now that it has been raining like forever
 and the ground is soft.

Certain dogs who shall remain nameless get the blame and are told how naughty they are.

 WELL......
Check out this mess
\/

\/

Bella assessing the damage.

 Do you notice anything different?
Because we don't......except

SHE did it!

But SHE says SHE was pulling out weeds so it's OKAY.

Hmmmmmmmmpf

  4. Hm, it's OK for one but not for the other...?! That's not exactly fair! :-/ Well, I say, tell her off too (weeds or no weeds!)! ;-)

  7. Ooh, our human is just the same - if she makes holes "weeding" then it's fine. But when we try to make the holes bigger, well... actually, our human doesn't mind. She says she can't expect us not to dig when the yard is mostly dirt at the moment. She's hoping to grow some grass so it'll be more difficult to dig.

And we get to dig at the beach, anyway.

  9. Well a little help with landscaping should be done in secret and then blamed on the cat or the squirrels or the vile fox. That's what we do. We had to resort to an old farmers trick last year which is to hang bags of mothballs around the fences to stop the vile fox digging. It worked. Nobody likes the smell. Have a super Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

  10. I don't see any hole digging issues. You are doing a very good job of digging holes. Certainly better than a human could do, thumbs and all.

  21. Humans are never satisfied. We tried to help Mom weed the garden one time and she got all mad and started yelling that we'd pulled the flowers out. Well, isn't that what she was doing? How's a dog supposed to know what the crazy humans want?

PS as for digging I only dig in my box which is upstairs over our family room...mom says it sounds like I'm digging to Down Under. Should I succeed I'll come for a visit

  24. The Momster here is very happy that our yard has a good snow pack so we can't make any mud for her. But with it hitting 50 this week, some of us are looking forward to holes and mud:) The only problem is that our SHE fills the holes with our poop so we won't dig there again.
