It's getting lighter later in the morning--nearly an hour later than before Christmas. It's also cooler at night.
About 6:30 a.m.
We've been going on the usual morning walk with just a few variations.
Look carefully, Bella is in this picture (left centre)
Bella is back on the lead. She's run off too many times.
She has decided that something lives in the High School pumpkin patch. She always stares at this big fellow...is it the Southern Hemisphere Great Pumpkin?
The sheep are always interested when we walk by. We usually ignore them now.
Bella hates being on the lead and does her dig in and pull the opposite direction.
She tries to head toward the KCA (known cat area).
The cats are back that way!
Look who's growing bigger.
Then we hit the streets again and walk by the little duck pond.
I see you ducks!
Checking out the pee-mail
Later in the morning we drive to the Sports Grounds for an off-lead run.......no cats, just birds to chase.
Hope you have a great Friday and are ready for a fantastic weekend.
Totally relate to Bella hating being on the lead. I might start a campaign 'Freedom for Bella'. Anyone want to join?ReplyDelete
Here in Aberdeen we are delighted to have passed the mid Feb milestone after which it is actually light for the morning walk.
What a lovely walk - we like to play "find Bella" in your photos.ReplyDelete
Yup we've also noticed it getting light later and dark that bit earlier. Mom is happy - she is not a great fan of summer. We are undecided.
Have a grrreat weekend girls.
Wally & Sammy
PeeS: we're glad to see Roxy made it home in one piece from the ball *BOL*

Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
Bummer that you have to be on-leash, Bella. Be a very good girl so you can be free again!ReplyDelete
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Your morning walkies look like fun! My peep still won't take us with her when she goes.ReplyDelete
Don't worry though, I make sure she knows I'm not happy. She said she can hear me barking for two blocks... The other day He got out of bed, 'cos I barked for 20 minutes after she left and it woke him up...
I couldn't convince Him to take us for a walk though... How do you girls do it??
Where did you think the Great Pumpkin went in April? It would seem wasteful the be useful only once a year.ReplyDelete
That looks like lots of fun! We wish we had a pumpkin patch!ReplyDelete

Wowee, I love your sunrise photo...such gorgeous colors! (I personally prefer to not be up when the sun gets up! Hehehe!) Aw, I'm sorry that Miss Bella is back on leash, but perhaps she will forget about running off and just hang with the pack...then, voila, no leash for her! :-) Have a great weekend guys!!ReplyDelete
What a great walk!ReplyDelete
You girls sure had a fun walk even if you did have to be on leash.ReplyDelete
Bella, sorry about the leash - this happens sometimes to me when I run off (I call it hunting) after the felines - or the crows (usually crows to be honest), and I have been known to do that dig in thing which apparently is not the done thing but it does work sometimes so I keep at it!ReplyDelete
Your walk looks like great fun and you must be very well behaved - I could never ignore the sheep! I would want to sniff and touch noses with them!!!
Hey to my fav girls Down Under!!ReplyDelete
What a beautiful sunrise!! Gosh it is so weird to think you are heading into fall. Just hard to grasp. I love the street by the pond. Mom would love to come Down Under but alas she doesn't know if she ever will so we'll enjoy it through your eyes.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
What a great Friday walk. My Vickie and I took a Friday walk too but we got nervouse cause we came across some folks in the forest doing "Things"ReplyDelete
Now we just walk in the open areas where we can see long distances.....

Thanks for sharing your morning walk with us! :) You'll have already taken another morning walk by now, too. :)ReplyDelete
Keep on wagging,
P.s. I'm always on lead nowadays.
As your days are getting shorter, ours are getting longer and we're excited at the thought of spring coming! What sort of temperatures do you get over the winter?ReplyDelete
