Just a happy photo!

While looking at old photos, we came across this one of me, Daisy.  

It was about 2-1/2 years ago.  I didn't have so much grey then.

SHE just likes this photo.

Wednesday--not wordless though

It's still wet here...so we've been hibernating.  SHE's abandoned us for two days and came home smelling of children.  We need the rain, so we're not really complaining.

These pictures were taken last week.

Here is Roxy performing her Cow Ballet.

She does this when she meets a new kind of animal.

(It's Wednesday, here, but the date won't change on the computer for another 12 hours.)

Sandy Beach

Look at this sky!

We've been to Sandy Beach twice this week.  

First time in MONTHS!

 We had the beach to ourselves.

SHE took 53 photos and 3 videos. It's been hard to just choose a few of them.

 Our Scottish retriever brought back a cockatoo feather

 which Roxy inspected.

 There were ducks to harass...

 Roxy wades, she always touches the bottom.

The river seems to be cleaner here AND there isn't as much mud.

We stopped by the Sports Ground to run around and dry off--

So NO baths when we got home!

Just dried and brushed.....YES!!!

Tasty Tuesday

Simple, but one of our favourites.

Whenever SHE cooks bacon--which believe us, falls between the RARELY and OCCASIONALLY markers on the Frequency Meter around here.

And then, it's usually only 1 rasher.

 SHE stirs our kibble around in the bacon grease. 

Our kibble picks up the flavour 

And SHE doesn't have to worry about discarding the grease.

We highly recommend it and give it the Paws Up....actually all twelve Paws Up!

Any ideas how we can get her to cook MORE and more frequently!

A confession...

My name is Hemskirk Charisma......
  better known as Daisy.

 And I have a drinking problem.

Well........ SHE says I have a drinking problem!

I just love to dunk my nose in the water dish right up to my eyeballs a couple of times before I actually start drinking.

Then when I'm finished I walk across the kitchen floor.

Okay, maybe I do dribble a bit.  But SHE's got the mop right there!

And it forces encourages HER to keep the floor clean.

I think SHE's got the problem.

Sheesh!

We have just had a wonderful time!

Friday Morning...

It's getting lighter later in the morning--nearly an hour later than before Christmas.  It's also cooler at night.

About 6:30 a.m.

 We've been going on the usual morning walk with just a few variations.

Look carefully, Bella is in this picture (left centre)

 Bella is back on the lead.  She's run off too many times.

 She has decided that something lives in the High School pumpkin patch.    She always stares at this big fellow...is it the Southern Hemisphere Great Pumpkin?

 The sheep are always interested when we walk by.  We usually ignore them now.

 Bella hates being on the lead and does her dig in and pull the opposite direction.  

She tries to head toward the KCA (known cat area).

The cats are back that way!

 Look who's growing bigger.

 Then we hit the streets again and walk by the little duck pond.

Later in the morning we drive to the Sports Grounds for an off-lead run.......no cats, just birds to chase.
