Yesterday's walk

We've been missing out on walks this week, would you believe. SHE says it's too cold for her in the morning and she has to go to work. THEN says it's too late when she gets home. There is some serious abuse going on here at the moment.
However, yesterday evening we finally went for a walk. It was going to be a short circuit of the reserve. But we met a cute little Jack Russell. His name was either Louie or Lolly. He was accompanied by a teenaged boy who only spoke Mumble.
That little guy was just rearing to play. We chased him all over the place....then he chased us. We rolled, jumped and played bitey face. I tired fairly quickly and went off to explore. Kendra just ambled along as usual. But Bella and the JR were wild. They found the only muddy spot and naturally had a game there. Then raced around us until Bella piked out. First time I've seen Bella tired first! Sorry there aren't any pictures.....someone forgot the camera!
MILLIE PUPDATE
Millie graduated from Puppy Pre-school the other night. Her humans said they thought she was probably just 'pushed through'. Millie, as usual, teamed up with the largest of the puppies to have a wild game. Her teacher said Millie had an 'attitude'.
(No pictures of the class, so we used this old one.) Anyway, we're wondering if we've got another Puddles Duddles Rainwater here, in the making!

Looks like a doxie angel when she's asleep.......but she's resting up for more devilment.

  4. I hate to say this, butt I would rather be out and about in the heat that we are having, than in the cold you have right now. I am glad that you met a new furend. I know about that teen age MUMBLE language. Odd isn't it?

  5. Hi girls - oh yes, there's a lot of Mumble folk round here too. FH and MH have tried to learn it, as have we, but it's a very complex language and we don't think we'll ever pick it up!

Hey, FH ADORES Jack Russells (if MH wasn't allergic to animal fur we might have been Jack Russells you know, but we needed to be doggies that were hypoallergenic and didn't moult!), she says something about them being SO cheeky and into everything - and never tiring, she thinks they have SO much character. Mind you, she's glad now she's got doggies that do appreciate snoozing quite a bit too!

Wishing you a great weekend our gorgeous raven-haired beauties!! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  6. Oh, I bets that was Most Fun, tearing around the place with a JRT! My mom says that her brudder still speaks Mumble and he's 32 years old!

And that Millie - do you s'pose Puddles has been in touch with her and teacher her the tricks of the "Doxies with Attitude" trade?

  7. Tell HER that our Mom walks us when it is ZERO MINUS with snow and ice on the ground - your Mom is familiar with Virginia winters and our last one was almost like the one in 1960. You need to get HER some heavier clothing. Just give Her your best guilty look and get HER out and walking with you.

Oh my gosh, dis is hilarious. I thinks my mum wants to doxienap Millie.
