We’re here........just hotter.
Roxy and Bella being good dogs. |
Since Christmas, our temps have averaged
between 100° and 110°
and even worse---HUMIDITY!
Dui seeing the camera and running away. |
We've been up and out early, so we can hibernate in the
air conditioning.
It has been a summer of RIVER mornings. School starts for the year this week, so on the way home from the river today,
there was a stopover at the outdoor Dog Wash!
Tomorrow, the car will go in to get rid of 6 weeks of river dirt and dog hair--white dog hair.
Doesn't look like it'll get any cooler soon.
We have had two fierce storms with rain, so no dust clouds.

All your hot air is coming over to visit us, here in New Zealand, with heatwave and record breaking temperatures predicted.
ReplyDeleteGood to see a post from you! I've been seeing news reports on the brutal heat in your corner of the world. I'm glad you've been able to go to the river to cool off at the start of the day. I hope that the school year is a good one for HER and all continue to be well! Take care!
ReplyDeleteOh No...First dust storms and then the incredible heat. We can definitely relate to the heat. I know this is South Florida but our winter has been very warm this year. A lot warmer than usual. Mother Nature sure is mad at the world! :(
ReplyDeleteAnd we are at the complete opposite end with frigid temps headed our way tomorrow through the week. We Sibes much prefer the cold to the heat, but not the Momster. We love seeing your posts:)

Hello Hello! (^_^)/ Even in Singapore, we'd been feeling the heat too. Fortunately just recently we've been having strong cool winds so it's slightly cooler now. Dui is still so funny "seeing the camera and running away" BOL. Enjoy your outdoor adventures guys!

OH NOES! Ma says she can deal with 'dry heat' butts HUMIDITY?? Oh, yes, just lock us in the house with the AC on! I thinks I would even enjoy a b.a.t.h. in that heat.....maybe ☺
ReplyDeleteStay cool my furiends, and if you needs some comfortable temps, you can stay here til the heat lifts there (it was 67F today). I can whip up some frosty drinkies and we can chase some tree rats!
I hopes you gets some relief soon guys {{hugs}}
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
pees: Dui, what up dude?? don't you knows camera means treaties??
we are going to have single digit temps tomorrow night. Maybe we should meet you at Ruby's

I cannot imagine it being so hot! I watched the bike race, "The Tour Down Under", on TV, and they kept saying how hot and humid it was. I sure hope that it cools down soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is FAR TOO HOT!
ReplyDeleteEspecially for a Scottie.
I'll be thinking about you all as I go and roll in our newly fallen snow this morning...
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
we have the op-pee-site it is cold as if we live in siberia... and we hope for some warmer times before SHE! ries to wrap us in ugly coats...uaaah...
ReplyDeletePhewwwww....thats serious HOT STUFF over there. There's snow in our forecast for Tuesday evening so I guess that means the whole of the UK will grind to a halt over 87 flakes!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

We have opposite extremes and neither are fun. You guys are roasting and we have frigid temps on the way here again. We are sending you TONS of cooling breezes!
ReplyDeleteyou are hot and we are cold, we should not be cold here in FL and the top aprt of the USA is 50 degrees below zero, opposite of your heat. Hi to all three sweeties, we have black hair in our car, but no river mud. good to see you all pop up
ReplyDeleteYou are getting the heat, we are getting the COLD.....
ReplyDeleteLover hearing from you down under.
Stay cool.
Bentley
In the summer we can get to 117F but there's no humidity. That humidty kills everything including the will to keep on living.
ReplyDelete100 degrees is bad enough, but add humidity and that is downright unbearable. I don't think I will complain about our cold weather ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can send some of that heat our way. Most of our country (and we guess Canada too) is heading for a deep freeze this week with high temps below zero for a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, hope the rain will at least cool things up a bit(without adding too much humidity)!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Dog wash....sounds like SHE pulled a fast one on you 3.
ReplyDeleteMid USA is in for horrible -50 wind chills for the next several days. So you are about 6 months ahead of us climate wise. That would be late july and early August being our most humid and dry but nothing like you all. THANK GOODNESS for a/c. I know you need the rain but why does it have to come so scary and fierce? Stay cool and hydrated
Hugs cecilia
I think I would rather have the cold than the hot. You can't cool off in the summer but putting out a sweater
ReplyDeleteWe are at the very opposite extreme - today it was 20 below zero! I not going outside until spring!
ReplyDeleteWe are watching the fires in Tasmania on television. For some reason we always thought Tasmania might be much cooler being smaller and surrounded by water.
ReplyDeleteIf we took your temperature and ours and mixed them together we would have the perfect one!
ReplyDeleteOn that date we had a minus 3 with a wind chill factor of minus 16 ~ so we were in the deep freeze. Humidity makes Lee hair look like it has been in a mixer! I would say hang in there but I fear climate change will have us all in the end.
