STILL doin' the same ole, same ole.
Bella |
STILL unkempt.
Dui |
STILL dirty.
STILL enjoying life.
So far, we've had cool mornings and mild days.
We've had a bit of rain and a windy thunderstorm.
Roxy and Bella protected HER by staying very close
and following HER everywhere until the storm abated.
Dui didn't help at all. He ignored the storm.
There was an altercation with the magpies one day.
Dui was seen chasing them around the driveway.
We now have one 'hoppy' magpie. He has a useless leg
which could be just a coincidence.
Hoppy |
All three magpies arrive several times a day for food.
They treat us like a fast-food window, just calling in their order.
One day we had to close the shades and close the front door
and pretend we weren't home. They were there every hour.
Have a good weekend.
It's good to see you all. Those magpies have a funny sound.
ReplyDeleteWe think those birds are TOOooo smart, scary smart!
ReplyDeleteAbout the grooming thing....it's overrated. Terriers would rather be close to nature! (says two terriers just back from the groomer)
Glad you are still there! Those magpies have a really weird voice, rather eerie!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that the 3 DIRTY MusPupteers are keeping themselves busy! BOL! Looks like a bath torture is in order. Have a great weekend (^_^)
ReplyDeleteBowie
Sounds like your Spring/Summer is fun so far! Nice to see you keeping those magpies on their toes!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
It's is very sweet that your pups take care of one another during a storm. Pocket hates storms and River Song ignores her and leaves her to her parents for comfort.
ReplyDeleteSeems to us that you are all just enjoying having a good time.
ReplyDeleteThose magpies would drive us nuts - we loved your fast food window analogy:)
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
A really cold night here in Loudoun county tonight - Supposed to be down into the 40's. Burrrrr!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Magpies -- Todd did too, when he heard them he came running over. He may have injured one too -- Which would have maybe slowed down business at the drive-thru! But they know a good thing when they have it.
I've been thinkin' abouts you guys! I am thrilled you have been havin' funs and keepin' outta troubles...heheheheee ...yeah, that was a joke there! ☺
ReplyDeleteHey, if you wants me to come overs and chase those burdies away, I am quite the expert!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
good to see you all. Those magpies know a good thing
ReplyDeletehugs
Hazel & Mabel
So good to hear you're all on good form. The hoppy magpie may be less pleased.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Those Magpies are quite demanding, aren't they!
ReplyDeleteKeep enjoying life☺
Magpies are like unwanted sales people. We put up a no soliciting sign it was that bad. Now it is just awkward because we have to say can't you read our sign. I'll be over with the fur brush Bella.
ReplyDeleteSweet William The Scot
The woodpeckers are the demanding ones around here. If the feeder is empty, they knock on the window. If we don't act quickly, they start drilling holes in the side of the house. Yikes!!
ReplyDeleteGood keeping the bird in line.
ReplyDeleteOM Magpies..what voices they have too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Dui had nothing to do with the hippty hop of the magpie..it was probably that front yard cat.
MOM got a big chuckle out of your comment about the fashion designers..wearing all black drab. LOLOLOLOLOL
Hugs madi your bfff
Both the boys just got a bath but Pierre needs a trip to the groomer. Our groomer moved so we are searching for someone we can trust. Pierre HATES to be groomed. I had no idea that magpies were so BIG!
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate to be guarded against the bad weather by two such ferocious hounds !
ReplyDeleteIt must be the same here as there! Our weather is nice. Mom says we're on borrowed time.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You take care of those birds!
ReplyDeleteI am really glad that you are still there and enjoying life! I was starting to get worried. LOL - you have to hide from the birds - that story made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteAt least your maggie pies are pretty and sound tuneful, all I get are pigeons, boring grey and far too noisy first thingy in the morning!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
PeeS although the pigeons do share their birdie bread with me so i shouldn't complain too much!
Same ole same ole here too
ReplyDeleteHa ha.. playing in the mud and the dirt is the best!!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing better than getting out and about and enjoying life!!
Lots of licks, your good friend Morrie :)
My peeps think I just look unkempt all the time too but it is hard to look smart when there are so many fun muddy twiggy places to explore. We get lots of pigeons in the garden but they don't stay long with our gang chasing them BOL Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteBeing dirty is da bestest way to be I says ;) Mama keeps talking about a baff befur Fanksgiving and I am not all about dat!! Dang those magpies are sure bossy about getting their food we don't blame you fur closing up shop fur the day.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Matt & Matilda
You dogs are living the dream! No baths, no haircuts, NO problem! ♥♥
ReplyDeleteDon't think a hopping magpie would have returned if the 'hop ' was Dui related.
