We start Spring on the 1st of September. We don't worry about 'official' days and stuff.
Of course, it is -5°C/23°F at the moment but will
be warm later.
We'll be going to the river soon--it's Saturday morning.
September 1st is also Wattle Day...and the Wattle is beautiful...
Our Jasmine is beginning to blossom.
As well as our Magnolia tree.
Hope you have a happy (Labor Day) Weekend...
Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteWe still have like 1/3 of summer but we had the coldest Sept.1 on record. There was frost this morning. It was 5 C when Lady checked the temperature.

My husband goes to Australia a lot on business (his company has a HUGE manufacturing facility down there). The change in seasons always throws him off a bit but he loves it there.
ReplyDeleteOK, how can it be -5 and 23 at the same time?
ReplyDeleteOoooo, that weather sounds FABulous to me!!!! I'll take my transport tunnel and join the terrierist brigade! BOL!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ Happy spring to you all! Our summer went way too fast, I can't believe that it's Labor Day weekend, how did that happen?
**I thought of you the other day - A friend of ours was going to Tuscarora Mill for an Australian wine tasting and 5 course dinner that included kangaroo... I've not caught up with her to find out how it was.
Always a surprise that as you guys are accelerating into summer we're chilling down into autumn.
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Wow, that is COLD! (If you're going to have COLD, at least you should have some snow to play in!) It is HOT here, back up to 32 degrees Celcius. Can we trade you some of our HOT for some of your COLD? Oh wait, my person says that is about to start happening as Nature will make Spring for you and Fall for us! Could it happen today though? Please?? It's WAY TOO HOT!!!
ReplyDeletePee Ess Your flowers are very pretty!
