Look who's back...

Some of you may remember our River Monster

He's way out there in the middle of the river.

Bella

He disappeared in the huge flood last Spring.

We thought he may have gone downstream.

But, he's back.

Slowly he has come out of the watery depths.

And moved closer to the beach....

or maybe the beach moved closer to him.

But, whatever, he is back and we can climb on him again.

THREE!

THREE!

 That would be ME!

Yes, I had a little taste.

Monday Mischief Mystery...

It was a dark, stormy morning.....actually, it's been a dark,

stormy day....

when Dui's mancave began to shake.

There was scratching  and thumping on the canvas sides.

Suddenly Blue Bear (aka Big Ted) was

forcibly ejected from the mancave,

followed by Dui who performed a violent 

Terrier Death Shake

and left.

All was still.

We do not know what offense BB committed.

Very mysterious.....

Practising for the Weekend...

Weim Wednesday....

Look who showed up at our favourite Market Stall!

Our favourite Market Stall

Coco

This is Coco.

She's been coming to the river on the weekends

with her sibling Ruby.

Ruby is ball-crazy and spends the whole time retrieving the ball from the river.

But Coco just loves to run!

And we love to chase her.

Down the beach, into the water, up the beach,

into the water.....we race around for ages.

She's so fast!

 But sometimes we catch her.

 That's why Roxy was limping on her wonky foot  last night and today.

We didn't go for a REAL walk this morning.

But we did go to a friend's house with a large backyard,

so we could run around if we chose.

We chose to sit at the door and wait for HER

to come out.

Then we had a picture taken and went to the sports ground,

where we chased birds.  Roxy's foot was a bit better, so she could play her favourite game:  Race and Ram!

She usually rams Dui.  He's great at zig-zag running,

and can usually avoid her.

Roxy is still limping a little.

Well, it finally happened....

SHEESH!

That ole sun got up so late that we missed our

Early Morning Walk!

We were up....ready.

Even SHE was up and ready....

But that ole sun was a no show

until very late!!!

During the summer, we have a LARGE

window of time to walk before

the Tradies traffic (tradesmen),

walkers, joggers and cyclists.

We can be home (and SHE can have her cappuccino)

in plenty of time to miss the school traffic

and people going to work.

We can work from home barking at the

late dog walkers.

BUT, that ole sun is ruining that.

Time is compressed.

We have to wait for HOURS until

we can walk in peace.

Luckily, the temperatures have been mild,

so the later morning walk is possible.

Weekends, we forget all that because we

go to the river to play with our friends and get

down and dirty.
