Monday mischief....

No Monday mischief, the rain returned.....
But we more than made up for that this morning!!

There were STRANGERS at the river, cleaning up rubbish,
BUT they were STRANGERS!

Dui raced over to one and began his fiercest barking, so Bella and I, Roxy went over to help!

The stranger ignored us, and SHE managed to get Dui on the lead so we could continue our walk.  Then just as she let Dui off, another STRANGER showed up.  He ignored us as we barked and generally got in his way.  Dui was finally put on the lead....again.

(Roxy usually tries to stop Dui, but most people cannot tell that she's barking at Dui--Bella just loves to join in the action, but just runs around.)

We got further down the track and Dui was let free, just as another stranger approached, so off he went to harass him!  Luckily, they were accustomed to ill behaved dogs and just commented that they were noisy.

SHE says we need training and perhaps a sheepdog to keep us in line!
THE END

Sorry there were no photos of the action.

  7. Dui, you need to tell the difference between a friend and a stranger with bad intent.

Elliot barks furiously at people while Cricket runs up to them to be petted and usually ends up tripping them up.

  27. Mom laughed out loud at this story! We are never allowed off our leashes when we walk. Something about not being trustworthy and running away. I don't know...
