Thankful Thursday.....with a Twist!

We have a few things to be thankful for, today.

Firstly, our Daisy's name was included in the Fala to the Rescue
roll call of scotties who've gone to the Bridge in the last year!
The Organiser sent the youtube links, so we could watch.

Next, Finley was having lots of rain, so we asked her if she'd send some to us in our comment.

And a couple of hours later, just look!

Great job, Finley.
Though next time you can leave out the Wind, Thunder and Hail!

♥   ♥   ♥   ♥   ♥

Yesterday was Roxy's Gotcha Day!
A package arrived for her from............?

Yes,  her ♥♥♥Ernie!♥♥♥

It was covered with stickers from Customs and Quarantine peeps

with an OFFICIAL letter addressed to Roxy!

They stole one of the presents!

Now, we know Ernie would NEVER send Roxy a 'biosecurity risk'.

The letter says they destroyed it 'free of charge'.

Hmmmmmmm, we're thinking they destroyed it by EATING it themselves.....just sayin'.

So it must have been good!

At least they did leave most of the stuff in the box

including the box with nothin' in it Roxy sent to Frankie at Easter.

But Frankie changed the wording to say to Roxy from Frankie.

Inside it, was a smaller, gold box with purple ribbon and a note.
Not only was it empty, but Frankie Farter sent a note INSULTING Ernie...AGAIN!

Them's fightin' words, Frankie......

The rest of the box contained TWO rope toys,  THREE antlers
(which aren't considered a biosecurity risk, obviously.)

And some HONEY lollies that SHE isn't sharing, and Scottie earrings...for HER, not the Scotties.

And a cute little Koala pin.

Dui has already claimed the largest antler and won't give it back.

Thank you Ernie!  You made my Gotcha Day EXTRA special....

I You!

  4. Those customs peepz are so evil. I can't believe they had the nerve to say it's free of charge. Let's look on the bright side, they didn't destroy the toy.

  8. I also received the rain, the hail, the wind, plus a 3.5 hr black out that started at 6pm, was not a pleasant night, fly screens either torn out of the windows or the mesh torn up, I also had two dogs racing around in the house barking , they were not frightened of the thunder, but was barking back at it. I also had a parcel opened by customs,it was quite a while ago, they sent it back to the place of origin, a pair of earrings can you believe it, I know that we in Oz have the toughest rules know to man, but a pair of earrings, yet they let antlers through, stupid people probably did not know what they are. Am glad that most of your parcel arrived.
