No More Ride the Wind....

for me...

Photobombing by Dui.

The back window I usually hang out is stuck in the down position.

It came up on Sunday morning,
but got stuck down again on Monday.

SHE says I stood on the button and made it go down.
SHE didn't notice until I jumped out at the river.

SHE also says it probably has several year's worth
of mud and water from dripping dogs
 clogging up the works.
We say it's just poor workmanship.

Whatever reason, it now has a Window Sock over it
 until it's repaired
AND since it's nearly Spring, it will stay there to provide shade.

So no more Wind in the Fur.

And for something different.....

We have our first jar of Worm Wee.
It'll be diluted in a 1:10 ratio and put on the plants.
Just in time for Spring on Monday.

  1. Bad luck Roxy. I got banned from that Ride the Wind thing after Gail one day accidentally pressed the button to move the window up rather than down and nearly cut my head off…
    Toodle pip!

  4. Howdy Girls. Bad luck about the window business. We can't see out of ours cause of all Rory's slobber art. Have a great weekend. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
P.s. The worm wee looks like iced tea. Hope your mum doesn't get it mixed up ahahahahaha.

  5. THEY are alway complaining about drool on the car doors - maybe if they drove faster to the parks we wouldn't have to drool everywhere. Way to go on the worm fertilzer

Worm Wee... that sounds like a good name fur.... a new line of PawFume... You would make a fortune with that... And a companion Fragrance... Dirty Birdie... You could have them ready fur sale before Christmas.. It would become FAMOUS like AVON.

  8. Aww such a shame you can't ride the wind.
You could ask nicely for a convertible then you don't need to worry about windows :)

  10. OH POOH Roxy no more feeling the breeze in your furs either. When my sis was a wee girl my peeps had a Saab. The car sit was in the back by a triangle shaped window. There was a knob used to push it open. My sis found out she could unscrew the knob...which she threw at the window at the same time she was saying "look mommy'. It stayed in the position for a while too.

OMDS mom thought that jar had iced tea in it. MOL MOL MOL. Worm pee is quite interesting. How long did it take to collect that much?
    Hugs madi your bfff

  15. Holy Crap I though you were making some sun tea.
You know that is what it looks like. Pray you don't make worm wee and sun tea in the same jar.
    Thanks for the experience

  27. Mum found she has a BUTTON in the front that prevents me from pressing my button in the back and sticking my head out. Not that I'm into that. I'm more happy with snuggling down into my sheepskin and pillows. I'm sure you will ride like the wind in no time.

PeeS: My Mum wants to tell yours that it was $64 to register me at Dinner Plain and that will last 12 months. It appears there is a very good chance that we will return next winter to Bright - and now that we know how to find snow - and nice walks - we might pop back for a day trip and picnic! The rules might have been a little Gestapo - but mum says it is because Dinner Plain is surrounded by National Pawk and YOU KNOW the dumb rules they have about dawgs there! In fact - I was not supposed to go off lead at all while I was there - but on seeing other dawgs running about free - the peeps took my lead off too (where it was safe to). All in all - it was a very lovely trip - highly recommended!!

  28. You know...SHE might be right. One of our back windows no longer works due to Callie (years ago) getting it gunked up prior to crating in the car. Ummm, we hope you'll explain the worm wee. I don't think we have that in Canada.

  30. I agree with you pups - poor workmanship on that window button. Seriously. Hope you're back to riding the wind soon!
