Remember last week.....

...when SHE said we were unkempt?
Well I, Bella, was supposed to get kempt today.

SHE had out all the torture gear.
 AND me
Don't like the look of those clippers.

That other stuff doesn't look too good either.
SHE was all set, I was brushed out and then
it was clipper time.

But those clippers wouldn't cut any fur!
They're duller than dull.
They wouldn't cut anything...SHE even tried HER arm.
Nothin'.
So I just got  brushed,
SHE couldn't be bothered scissoring me.

I can stay unkempt until the blades are replaced or sharpened!

  3. Lucky escape Bella - for now...
I just get scissors and the dreaded stripping knife. I have observed Gail using electric clippers to trim her Dad's hair, and really hope she never tries them on me.

    Bertie.
PS What's wrong with not being kempt anyway?

  6. Oo oh..! Those gears don't look too friendly. I get similar torture every 3 months, by a hired torturer though.

Our mom doesn't have Clippers... would your method work on SCISSORS??? AND MOST IMPAWTANTLY... would it work on the NAIL YANKERing Clippers. WE HATE those with a PASSION.
OMD you have come up with the PERFECT plan for avoiding the KEMPTing torture.

  20. The pack doesn't need clipping, not ever. Sometimes the are a bit unkempt but not for long since they all have such short hair. You look beautiful, kempt or not!

  21. Unfortunately, if She can't sharpen them, She'll get new ones. It always works to our detriment.

  23. Thank DOG you escaped a terrifying groom. You look great with long hair, anyway! I'm glad our dogs are short haired and only require an occasional brushing.

  24. We never understand the humans. What's the point of getting all kempt if we are just going to get unkempt again? Don't they have better things to do with their time and OUR time - let's go for a walk and forget the clipping and brushing:)

  26. Lucky you, Bella! That happened to Molly when mom when to clipper her once and she ended up using rakes and all kinds of torturous stuff on her to thin out her furs! Now Molly has to have a bath to fluff up her furs so the clippers work! Nasty Terrier wire coat!

    Love ya lots♥
