So you can imagine our SHOCK to wake up last Wednesday to WINTER!

SHE had to dig out her warm coat and gloves for our early morning walk.

The day had low temperatures, cold rain and biting winds.

Thursday was the same.

We didn't even get a walk on Thursday!

But to the east of us, about a 2-hour drive, it was even
worse!

They had snow and lots of it!
Main roads were closed.
Some trains couldn't get through.

SHE wouldn't take us to play in it though.....

These pictures are courtesy of Barb who lives to the north of us.
She's a friend of Frankie Furter's and she sent them to him.  He forwarded them to us.  We'd seen all the snow on the news, but didn't get any pictures.
So Thanks Barb and Frankie.

  34. I suppose that the snow is nice. We always enjoy the first one or two times it snows. After that, it's not so great. Oh well, we'll deal with it!

  35. That is a little too close for those flowers to have to worry about. I can't believe you are going into spring and we are going in to winter. What a wonderful world.
