Uh oh, Bella!

This morning was beautiful.  SHE decided to do a bit of weeding....there's grass growing everywhere except where it's supposed to grow.  SHE was surprised to find a buried stuffie and assumed it was the missing koala.  On closer inspection....
It proved to be a small, collectible teddy bear purchased in Hamleys Toy Shop in London for a fairly hefty price!  We don't know when Bella buried it; but it wasn't too dirty.

Further weeding uncovered Blue Bug who's been missing for months..
And finally, poor koala missing for about the same length of time.

Both stuffies have been through several heavy rains and frosts.

Bella would not even look at the camera.

  2. Oh Bella, you and Bailey could have so much fun together, hiding toys and pretending not to understand what we're talking about.

  3. Bella - naughty muffin!! (That's what my mum would say!) I keep taking some of my stuffie's outside but I don't bury em' - I just do it to provide my mum extra exercise in going out and collecting em'......BOL

  10. Gail recently read an article in a science magazine which claimed that dogs do not feel guilt. I don't think Bella can have read it!

  13. Looks like SHE had a very productive day in the garden. Tell HER to do like the Momster just did and toss those stuffies in the washer - amazing how well they come out except they don't quite smell the way we like them.

    Happy Sunday.

  17. We are laughing and barking over here! The toy box is empty.....where did they all go, STANZIE?
She started this behavior as a tiny little puppy. Trying to shove the toys under the furniture and always slinking around So guilty while doing it. Did Bella begin her burying behavior early on?
