Our Easter Day

Kendra and Bella waiting to eat their eggs and Hot Cross Buns.
(Daisy was sulking and wouldn't be photographed.)
After our early morning walk, we sat outside to eat our Easter goodies.  We had a taste of the Hot Cross Buns and loved them. SHE bought the children's kind, they have no dried fruit in them. While SHE was taking the shells off the eggs, Bella kept trying to steal a bun.

Took a few attempts, but she managed to make off with one.
Bella makes short work of the egg.
 Then we ate the eggs.
Daisy realised she was missing out on food and finally came out to be photographed and join in the fun.

After breakfast, we went for a long, dry walk by the river.  We weren't allowed near the water today.  There were loads of people out enjoying the beautiful weather.  Whole families were cycling, or playing football, or picnicking, or just walking.......many included their dogs.  We met so many people and dogs.  We had to do a lot of sitting because we always have to sit still when people or cyclists approach.  They always say how well behaved we are.  (SHE always says 'sometimes'.)

Then when we came home.........................

Ahhhhh, what a wonderful day!

We ran off in three directions when we got our bones, so we could eat in peace.

Hope you had a wonderful day, too.

  2. thank you for visiting my blog. When Mum and Hine were waiting for me and Dad today they made friends with a Scottie called Molly. That was before Mum bought her coffee and spilt it on her knees.

  10. Sounds like a lovely Easter! And, how nice you are with the bones. Darby and Pumpkin have to be separated by walls and closed doors when they get new bones! Pumpkin thinks both bones should be hers and Darby begs to differ with her -- loudly and with lots of teeth showing on both girls.
