Say....what?!

We were looking through old photographs the other night, and we found these.
Alpha said she took a break from scotties years ago--yes, you read that correctly--"a break from scotties." Do you believe it?!
This is Fiona. She was a small wolfhound. Alpha says she'd love to have more wolfhounds but they are too big for our house and garden. I know that Kendra is scottie number 7, I'm 8 and Bella is 9. But I never knew about this dog! I mean our house is full of scottie statues, cups and stuff. Wow, the things you find out.
Didn't last long! This is Carys, she was number 6. I never met her; but , apparently, she was the perfect scottie according to people who knew her. I'm trying hard to get that reputation, myself. But it's a hard act to follow!
Pee S. Carys was a dedicated cat chaser, too.

  1. Hi Daisy - Fiona looks very sweet. And wow - you're scottie number 8 eh? That's some serious Scottie appreciation! Love the photo of Carys and Fiona, we can tell just by looking at it that Carys was in charge! Schnazuer snuggles - JD and Max.

  3. It's amazing what you discover, isn't it? Our hoomans had an English Bulldog before they got both of us! Why would they want one of those?! Terriers are best!

    Love ya lots,

  4. Our Mom is ooohing and aaaahing over that Wolfhound. But we know that terriers rule her heart. They always had big dogs like our dear Java before Lilly came along. We doubt they'll ever go back, unless they get a big dog that lives outside - we've heard rumors of that!

  8. WOW, thats a contrast. Lovely doggie, SHE often talks about how they used to have large outside doggies when they lived in the country in NC and TN. Here in Florida, they've only had smaller doggies cuz we need to stay indoors in the summer. She says when the retire back to TN, they might get another large outside doggie. I don't see why when Scotties are the best!

    sniffies,

    Bonnie
