Easter Evening Part 3

 Our Easter Sunday ended with a walk on the bicycle track along the river to OUR beach.

 Roxy didn't want to cross the bridge at first, but decided if we did it, she could too.

The evening was cool, so there were lots of people out walking, jogging, cycling, on scooters, fishing and kayaking.

 Our beach is still very small and because there were fishermen, we couldn't get off the leads.

 On the way back, Bella stopped to lick some water out of the tap.  I'd already had some.

 We ran into our friend Gwen Stefani!  We haven't seen her since before Christmas.  There were so many snakes around in the Spring that we didn't go down there.  We had some great chasing games. 

 We love Gwen.  And now that it's getting cooler, we'll be walking along the river again.

It was a wonderful day.  We took this sunset on the way home.

Easter Morning Part 2

 Early Easter Morning we went to the Sports ground for a run....

Should I chase these cockatoos?

Of course I should!!!

These two just sat on the goal post and watched us.

Roxy and Bella played war games.

 I rolled on the wet grass, and answered pee-mail.

When we got home, we had a Kibble Scramble.  We got the idea from the Porties, Tsar and Morgen.  They were going to have an Easter Hunt.  SHE thought we'd never get the idea of hunting for treats, so SHE just threw kibble on the driveway.

We're ready!

 Roxy ran inside.  Sometimes she's suspicious of new things.

Bella and Daisy

 Bella started cleaning up.  She put her head down and did a great Vacula imitation!

Then I got into the spirit of the game.

 Roxy finally decided it looked like fun and joined in.

We got up every bit of kibble, even the bits in the cracks.

We'll tell you about our afternoon walk tomorrow.

EASTER!

 Happy Easter everyone!

We've had such a busy day that it'll take a couple of posts to tell you all about it.  

First we got loads of treats, dyed eggs that we had for breakfast, roo chews, bully sticks, sea jerky and hot cross buns.

 See, SHE bought the Cross Buns (ours weren't hot) without dried fruit, so we could have some.

Ya gotta love that.

 SHE got the chocolate Easter Bilby and chocolate eggs.

We got the rest!

 After our 87 official photos, Roxy went straight for the buns,

got one and ran into the bushes.

 I grabbed the whole bag of roo chews.

 But SHE grabbed the other end, so we each got only one!

As we explained last Easter, Australia has a rabbit problem,

they ruin the habitat of the native Bilby.

At Easter  there are chocolate Bilbies and the money

raised from them goes to the preservation of this

endangered species.

This is a little Bilby.

Tomorrow we'll tell you about some of the rest of the stuff we did.

Last Week

 Daisy here to tell you about our week and highlight a problem!

Last weekend the clocks were changed back one hour whatever that means so we were back to our early morning walks.  Then because inconsiderate people are playing sports on our sports grounds in the afternoons, we've been going early to have a run.  The other day we met our friend Buddy.  He and Roxy ran around like mad things.  They were very funny.

But someone forgot the camera.

Jedda, the tiny puppy who lives on the other side of the back fence, just walked through the fence several times last week to visit us while her parents were at work.  She's very cute.

We met our friends Glasgow, Phoenix and Josie on our walks last week.

Someone forgot the camera.

Roxy and Bella nearly caught two frogs.  Those frogs high-tailed it up our brick wall (they're tree frogs.)

Bella and Roxy had to go to the dogtor on Thursday because they've been shaking their ears, $116 and there was nothing wrong.  Bella shook like jelly and tried to look small, Roxy turned into a doughnut to see what the vet was doing.

Are you picking up a pattern here?

Why is it all the important stuff has no photographic record.....

 But if you get a bit of dirt on your nose, or try to have a sleep....that flashy box is shoved in your face?

A Mystery

 Yesterday (April Fool's Day) SHE finally finished a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle SHE's been working on.  It was a lot more difficult than it looks.

 Take another look....

Turns out it was a 999-piece puzzle....

The mystery is:

Did it come minus a piece.....

Or has Somedoggy had a little snack?
