Sunday bones

 After two hours at the river this morning,

and the dreaded baths,

we had bones--nice, juicy beef knuckles.

Bella found a secluded spot by the tomatoes.

 I, Daisy, found a  good spot on the grass.

  

SHE read outside, because lurking in the bushes,

is the notorious bone snatcher.

 

 Roxy hides her own bone and sneaks around behind bushes

  to pounce on an unwary sibling...

 

 if she can get away with it.

What are you lookin' at me for?

But we're wise to her tricks.
