Look what I found.

SHE noticed me playing with something.  I was shaking it and flipping it.

SHE pulled me away so we could look at it.  It's some sort of grub thingy.
Naturally, Roxy grabbed it and took it to her hide out.
But she dropped it between the 'supposed-to-keep-Roxy-from-lying-in-the-dirt' pavers.
I can see you in there little grubby thingy.
Daisy

When we tried to identify it by Internet...Look what we found!
A whole bunch of insect recipes like this one.
 And even a LOCUST TACO!

We left our little guy alone.

  12. I hope I never get hungry enough to eat bugs. I hear they are tasty, but I don't like the idea. Daisy and Roxy would probably disagree, but I'm sticking to it.

  25. Oh yuck. You guys have so many options for food, I'm sure. The grub is unnecessary. You aren't Timone and Pumba :)

  29. I bet by the color it would taste bitter. I never did like sushi and even less now if possible. The little fellow got his life spared.

  30. Uh, you're not making grub tacos are you? Yuck! Sometimes the pack finds dried up earthworms. They roll on them and even eat them.
