Strange Street Sightings

This morning we went to the Park for a photo session.

When we got back to our car, look what we saw!

For a couple of weeks, the peeps at the Devil's Elbow had been talking about the lady who walks her dogs and sheep.
The Akitas are nine-year old sisters....very sweet.
Sampling the rose bushes in the Pool's car park.
The sheep..well, large lambs, just walk along with them.
They don't go into the road.
Continuing towards the main part of town.

Goodbye sheepies....Enjoy your walk.
If you've noticed the absence of two scotties and a spotty, we had to watch from the car!
We were not allowed to meet them up close.

  1. That is just plain weird!
But we are impressed that the sheep don't go onto the road. In the Scottish Highlands it is often hard to get the sheep OFF the road!

  2. Wow, that's a sight worth seeing.
I wonder if the sheep think that they are dogs :-)

  5. Now that's not something you see everyday, how fun! I remember seeing someone running with a miniature pony a few times when we lived in Alaska, and I thought that was fun to see too!

  7. Holy Sheepie! Isn't that amazing. I think they must be related to Dachshund Nola. They tried to walk their chickens!

  17. Aw! That is so neat that the sheep go for a walk! My sister has sheep and goats and they follow her everywhere!

  18. How very strange that all seems to us!!! And very unfair that those sheep don't have to have strings attached like we do. If it is any consolation to you, we would have been on lockdown in the car too.

  25. No way!!! That's one interesting site. Akitas are often known for their courage and loyalty. It's nice to meet two in the flesh.

  26. That is crazy! What would keep the sheep from spooking and running into the road? They are cute though.

  28. Ha! Walking sheep on leashes? Does she have to clean up their "business"? Great story.

  29. That certainly is different! Too bad you had to watch from the car. Wouldn't that have been fun to get right up there and sniff?!
