Today when we went to the Sports Ground for our mid-morning run, some inconsiderate people were playing sport on it.
Loads of schools with soccer playing kids.
But that didn't stop us. We just went along the path with the Sports Grounds on the left, river on the right.
Put the camera away and hurry up! |
We haven't been along this track since snake season started
last spring.
We took a slow walk and sniffed everywhere!
Roxy did her usual stalk...
and ambush of Bella.
We had a fantastic time.
Roxy, Bella and Daisy |
It's been another great week.
Last night's sunset. |
Here's to a fantastic weekend.
That looks a beautiful walk along the path.

Snake season?? (Shudder!!) Hope those things are long gone! Looks like a totally wonderful walk though and a gorgeous sunrise/set photo! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou girls always have the bestest times! Your sunset is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,

Your park is pawsome. We too have kids using ours as a playground and don't start us on the footballers or the bikes. We still find places for a good stalk and chase as well. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

ReplyDeleteI can't believe da kidlets took up your area...so rude.

ReplyDeleteLooks like another wonderful place to go walkies....ah Mom misses the red sunsets
ReplyDeleteThe girls are great photo subjects, of course, but that sunset! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI bet there were lots of exciting smells for you three to sniff up. I love how Roxy is stalking and ambushing Bella. Beamer does that to Audi all the time.
Happy Friday!
Snake season??????
ReplyDeleteThat sound terrible. I had an encounter with our garden snake last year and I don't like him one bit!
Nora
WOW what a super time.. except fur those RUDE peeps being in YOUR place.
ReplyDeleteOMD that is a TREEmendous TREE. It would take Ernie and I (Frankie Furter) a week to get THAT one watered all the way around.
We both laughed about Roxy doing her Stalking thingy. hehehehe
That Sunset was GORGEOUS.
PeeS... Ernie says that TODAY (FINALLY) he is going to open "HIS" Crocodile bones. He says he is going to ALLOW me to have ONE. I can't wait. Ernie says that he is making the pressie goodies LAST as long as PAWsible. I can understand THAT.
HI ROXY... It is ME... YOUR ERNIE. Since it is a WARM and SUNNY day Frankie is RIGHT.. WE are gonna lay on the PORCH and SAVOR our furst EVER Crocodile BONES. THANK YOU SWEETHEART.
LOVE YOU FUREVER,
Ernie
You girls always look like you have so much fun on your walks. I'm glad we don't have a snake season around here.
ReplyDeleteMillie
You three need to put a lot of poop on the sports field. Bite Her if She tried to clean it up. A week of a lot of poop will cure the urge to do sports. You'll have it to yourselves soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love seeing pictures of you three playing and having fun!
ReplyDeleteOur spotty pups do that stalk and pounce game too.
ReplyDeleteGals that was such a fun walkabout.. Dog gone that was a huge tree trunk.
ReplyDeleteRoxy you crouch and attack just like a kitteh!! Maybe you have some feline DNAs
Hugs madi your BFFF
I took a picture of the sky also last night and we have the same color sky. Half way around the world and the sky looks the same at dusk on the same evening funny.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot

ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots

ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Benny & Lily
Yeah, it's nice here too. Y'all have a nice weekend yourselves!
ReplyDeleteAroO, Stuar
That looks like a very nice setting for a leisurely walk. Mom says we don't know the meaning of leisurely walking:)
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have a great weekend too.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
scotsmad....
ReplyDeleteDid you miss me? {Okay, that was part of a Tony Stark/Iron Man line from "The Avengers". Very cocky and self-centered, actually!!} Well, I have appeared missing in action so to speak around everybody's Blogs lately. To complete my Secretive Writing Project. Well, I'm baaaack!! Did you miss me? Hee, hee, hee.... ;)
That last picture!! I love it!! The skies are ablaze!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... Plus Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
What a fun day! Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Marley
That looks like a great day...but if you said snake season you are going to have to count us out. No snakes for us two
ReplyDeleteOh the fun!! Roxy's expression reminds me of Mr. Fox, especially with the ears back.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Yes I find it very irritating too, when humans insist using sports grounds for the intended purpose.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Great job sniffing! It is so very important. Mama says snake season is like the scariest thing ever.... she tries very hard to stay away from non-swimming-pool waters in the summer.
ReplyDeletelove,
reuben
What a beautiful sunset. You all look so nice in your group photo. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Great pics of your adventure and the sunset. Wish we could have been there having rub with you......except for the snakes..we are not really into them. especially Mom is not..
ReplyDeleteThanks or visiting.
Who's
Ernie and the furkids
Howdy Girls, ya gotta love off lead runs on a Saturday. Sorry to say, our brother was playing footy at our local oval yesterday too. We don't mind though cause we can walk along our track near the oval instead and he has fun playing! See ya soon. NO worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteScottie's in the wild! I'll bet there were plenty of great smells.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
It's always a good day to sniff and what lovely sniffing grounds you have there!
ReplyDeleteWyatt
It looks like you had such fun! I'm glad that the snakes stayed away...
