I am sure that in my Ladybird 'Flight One -Australia' book (favourite childhood reading!) it said that the population of Australia was 8 million, the same as London. Things have changed in so many ways since the sixties. Cheers, Gail. PS Bertie wants to know how many dogs. And terriers. And wire haired fox terriers...
Do you realize more people than that live just in New York! That is what I tell people all the time - Australia is the same size as the USA but only has the population of New York - and there is no guessing as to which one Mom would prefer to be living in :)
So how many dogs live in Australia. My city, Cincinnati, is shrinking and that is O.K. with me. My country is always growing and that is O.K. too. Thanks for stopping by my blog Sweet William The Scot
Wow. That's a huge number. Congratulations to Australia! I think Australia might need to up their veggemite production to meet the growing population. Hahaha!!
Howdy Girls, we heard that too. We live in a little town of around 1500 so is doesn't feel too crowded yet hehe. We'd like to know how many pups there are around the country too. Hope your weather isn't too cold yet. See ya soon. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Goodness...we thought there were faaaaar more of you (Ozzies) than us (Saffers)... *BOL* wait mom just asked: how many of that 23 million are Saffers?? Wally & Sammy
