It's getting cooler at night, so SHE got out our beds.....not that we use them much.
Bella prefers to be on the BIG Bed or couch. I, Daisy, like to sleep under the BIG Bed or on laundry and
Roxy thinks she OWNS the BIG bed.

So SHE went to get us some new beds--in case we decide to use them.
These were the ONLY ones that could go in the washing machine! Everything SHE looked at had to be hand washed!
As you can see our bed covers have to be washed......frequently.
These are thicker than the old ones, and bigger; though the photo doesn't show it.

Bella thinks they look good; but smell funny.
You never know....
We may even sleep on them.
(Oh, and they were half price--bonus!)
Surely, a truly caring owner would be happy to lovingly handwash their beloved pup's bed every time a speck of dirt appeared?

ReplyDeleteNow you have to " season" them. A few good rolls on them...chomping a few bones on them...maybe throwing up them.....yep they will begin to smell right in no time
ReplyDeleteDaisy, Pumpkin is right there with you when it comes to sleeping on laundry! Best place in the world (except for IN bed with us, which we don't allow because we're terrible, mean dog parents.)
ReplyDeleteUgh! I miss the days where we get stuff for half the price. I just bought the pack some dog toys. Paying full for 1 is okay... but getting 4(2 of which are spares in case one of them pulls an all-nighter bite-athon) is outrageous.

ReplyDeleteOMD we LOVE the look of your new beds... Perfect fur ALL of your furs colors!! Nothing much better than a BARGAIN. Leaves more $$$$$$ fur Stuffies and Treats. Now about that Funny New Smell... put some of your bones and Well Used Toys on them fur a while and they will add their Flavors to the beds and they will smell WONDERFUL in like 87 Seconds.

ReplyDeleteMy two have cute little comfy beds all over our house, but do they ever actually sleep in them?? No! I get so excited anytime I catch one in a bed! They prefer the human bed, couch, chair or just the plain floor!

Cool new beds - hope you all decide to use them. We love our new beds that Mom got at Costco for a pretty good price. We used to have really nice ones from L.L. Bean until SomePup decided they didn't need zippers or stuffing. Mom is surprised that these news are doing so very well. Maybe SomePup is finally growing up.

Ooooooo I LOVE NEW BEDS....... mum is always amazed at how I jump onto anythingy that looks comfy wumfy straight away. She says that when she was a cat owner her cat always looked at expensive new things like beds and scratching posts with horror - and would always go lie down in alternative spots - even if they seemed uncomfortable!!
