Betrayal and Redemption...

Later in the morning after our EARLY morning walk,
we packed into the car just like the other day when we went to the sports ground.

BUT,
We went to the VETs!

Bella and I went in and Roxy stayed in the car....crying and barking.

I, Daisy, had my mouth checked.  SHE wasn't sure if I had irritated the growth or it was growing quickly. (It's growing quickly.)

Bella had her ears checked, because she's been shaking them.
Bella causing a small earthquake on the table.
SHE thought maybe they were sore from being in the river, but they were VERY clean, just a slight redness in one ear.

However, things picked up as we headed home.
We went to another section of the Tracker Riley cycleway
 near our old beach.

The doctor said that Bella could get in the river,
 and that's what she did.
We ran around in and out of the water, then headed back over the bridge,
to dry off on the sports ground and have a longer run.
It's set up for Cricket at the moment.
We walked all around one section and then headed back to the car.
It's been getting hotter each day, so we won't have a mid-morning walk for a few days.
We nearly forgot the betrayal of the VETS.

  9. A short stop at the Vets is not a bad trade for a fun time at the park and a swim. Sorry to hear how fast Daisy's mouth is growing. At least she is does not seem bothered by it. Prayers sent your way to one and all.

  10. All of us here are VERY concerned about the growth of the growth and the speed it's happening. If we had our way, the growth would be shrinking.

  22. Gosh your lucky girls, green grass and water, I would go to the vet just to have a little grass that does not bite you when I walk on it. To leave pee mail is very difficult. I am having a good time , Mum has been out everyday, so I am pretending to be upset, getting a lot of good treats. Hugs and Wags from The Boss.

  30. Blimey girls, ya just can't trust the peeps can ya. The visit to the park almost, almost made up for the vet visit. Of course only if you got heaps of treats when you got home would it make up for the whole vet visit. Take girls. We've got bushfires happening around our area. It's a bit scarey. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  33. Best you had the vet doctor look and make sure. Nope, a walk doesn't make up for being prodded around, but what a fantastic walk. If you want I'll nip in to see the vet for you next time, then I can join in on your walk. Lots of love XXXXXXXXXX
