Later in the morning after our EARLY morning walk,
we packed into the car just like the other day when we went to the sports ground.
BUT,
We went to the VETs!
Bella and I went in and Roxy stayed in the car....crying and barking.
I, Daisy, had my mouth checked. SHE wasn't sure if I had irritated the growth or it was growing quickly. (It's growing quickly.)
Bella had her ears checked, because she's been shaking them.
Bella causing a small earthquake on the table. |
SHE thought maybe they were sore from being in the river, but they were VERY clean, just a slight redness in one ear.
However, things picked up as we headed home.
We went to another section of the Tracker Riley cycleway
near our old beach.
The doctor said that Bella could get in the river,
and that's what she did.
We ran around in and out of the water, then headed back over the bridge,
to dry off on the sports ground and have a longer run.
It's set up for Cricket at the moment. |
We walked all around one section and then headed back to the car.
It's been getting hotter each day, so we won't have a mid-morning walk for a few days.
We nearly forgot the betrayal of the VETS.
Your Mummy knows how to trick you! Acceptable if she takes you to such a nice place, we guess. Hope you both get better soon. Have a great weekend :)

ReplyDeleteOH DAISY that is NOT what we were wanting to hear. We are so very much sorry.
ReplyDeleteBUTT you CAN go to your beloved River and we know how much that means to you. We hope that it Hurries and Cools off so you can go again SOON.
We can NOT believe that SHE Tricked you girrrrls that way though.
POTP and PAWS CROSSED fur you Daisy.
A short stop at the Vets is not a bad trade for a fun time at the park and a swim. Sorry to hear how fast Daisy's mouth is growing. At least she is does not seem bothered by it. Prayers sent your way to one and all.
ReplyDeleteBentley
All of us here are VERY concerned about the growth of the growth and the speed it's happening. If we had our way, the growth would be shrinking.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Kyla said :(( However, it looks like you guys had a wonderful day. I am quite jealous.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Daisy I am sending you good vibes sweetie
ReplyDeleteLily

Your peep sure knows how to take the sting away from going to the dog-tor. I bet you go to the best vet in the land! I love the pictures of where you get to play!

Daisy
Gosh your lucky girls, green grass and water, I would go to the vet just to have a little grass that does not bite you when I walk on it. To leave pee mail is very difficult. I am having a good time , Mum has been out everyday, so I am pretending to be upset, getting a lot of good treats. Hugs and Wags from The Boss.
ReplyDeleteAt least you had a nice walk after the trip to the vet.
ReplyDeleteOh, we do not like hearing that thing is growing too fast! Be happy Daisy and give your mom cuddles. Now maybe me and Stanley need to stop by and go to the river with yous?
ReplyDeleteYour Olympic Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
A decent trade off, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteNola
Yep, understand, it does take a lot to forget them dogter peeps!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Well, at least SHE saved the best for last:) Sorry to hear that Daisy's growth is getting bigger - we hope it doesn't bother her too much.

We sit here in the cold and the snow looking forward to pictures from your walk to warm us up
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you had such a great walk that you almost forgot.... the early morning thing... I too love seeing your summer photos!
ReplyDeleteDaisy, sorry your growth is growing fast, that sucks. At least, She is making the best of every day with you. I will continue to keep my paws crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Blimey girls, ya just can't trust the peeps can ya. The visit to the park almost, almost made up for the vet visit. Of course only if you got heaps of treats when you got home would it make up for the whole vet visit. Take girls. We've got bushfires happening around our area. It's a bit scarey. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteA distant memory...don't worry about that dumb vet, just have fun :D
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
You had a lovely walk afterwards.
ReplyDeleteMy darling Amber's mouth sore grew fast too :-(
Carry on having fun with lots more walks and rolling in the grass.
Best you had the vet doctor look and make sure. Nope, a walk doesn't make up for being prodded around, but what a fantastic walk. If you want I'll nip in to see the vet for you next time, then I can join in on your walk. Lots of love XXXXXXXXXX

Hey girls - hope you are staying cool - heard you are having 39 today?? We are having a little break (only 29 here today) but tomorrow and for the next week we are back to baking. And not the good type of baking either - like when you get a cookie!
ReplyDeleteTail Wuggles, Rubie xxx
Hoomans can be SO sneaky when they want to. At least she made up for it though.
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
Oh Daisy I wish we could have a miracle for you and that nasty thing could just go away. You are in my prayers every day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
She was very smart to take yall for a little trip before and after...get your mind off the VET...hope all clears up soon
ReplyDeleteI like the way your human thinks. Nothing beats shaking off a trip to the vet like a fun walkie.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
